Final day of Convention

Well the pictures just say it all, huge smiles everywhere!!

On the final day of Convention we had a few classes to attend that we had pre-booked before we went.  They were amazing, very interesting, informative, and fun too.

There were so many display boards, it was difficult to know what to take pictures of, so inspiring!

Throughout the duration of Convention there were 25, yes 25 Prize Patrols, everyone attending was lucky enough to get prizes, along with all attendee giveaways too.

At the end of the final session it was time to wave goodbye to the 25th Anniversary Convention and it went out with a bang, literally, as thousands of pieces of silver paper fell from the ceiling, it was amazing to witness.

That evening some of us went out to an Italian Restaurant, and ate delicious food.

And on our way back we saw this outside a local bar,

then came across this

so the lovely Zoe volunteered to be our flag lady

then who should we meet but Bill and Ben!!!

What a fun evening we had!

More from the US Convention

Our second day was jam packed, I have pictures that I can't share with you yet but we had lots more Main Stage Demonstrations and Presentations which were amazing then I had an organised swap to attend.  I was able to ship back a box of goodies and my swaps are in their so they didn't get damaged on my travels so hopefully they will arrive soon!

Later on in the day we met up with lots of lovely US Demonstrators, this was arranged by Monica and it was brilliant.  Everyone was so welcoming and it was nice of them to give up their time to meet with us.

In the evening there was the Awards Night and we recognised so many talented demonstrators, it was a lovely evening followed by fun and the most gorgeous cupcakes.....

By the end of the day we were pooped and didn't manage to stay up that late. What an amazing day we had.

I'm back from the most amazing trip......

........ wow, what an amazing 2 weeks I've had, I have sooooo many pictures to share with you so I will step it out day by day.

 I left the UK on 17th July for a flight to Salt Lake City via Paris to attend the Stampin' Up! Convention, a special event this year as Stampin' Up! are celebrating their 25th Anniversary so I knew it was going to be a very special occasion.  Stampin' Up! thankfully changed the date of this year's Incentive Trip to coincide with Convention to allow those of us who earnt the trip the opportunity of going along.

After an unfortunate delay at Heathrow, we missed our connecting flight at Paris and had a long layover as there were no other flights until the following day.  At the time we were very anxious to be at Salt Lake City and begin the celebrations of Convention but my thoughts were with Teri who's stay in SLC wasn't as long as ours but our layover allowed us time to bond and get to know each other better and looking back there are memories there that will stay with us all.

After a 24 hour delay we finally arrived at Salt Lake City with just a couple of hours to get showered and ready before Convention began at 5.00pm, sadly my luggage got left at Paris so I had to borrow a few things and need to say a HUGE THANKYOU to Michelle Last who supported me through this, helping me sort out the paperwork to ensure my suitcase arrived at the right place and lending me anything I needed.  Also huge thanks to Natalie O'Shea who invited me to her room with an offer of anything I needed to borrow, thank you lovely ladies.

So here's the queue, everyone waiting for the doors to open and the party to begin!  Nearly 6000 demonstrators came to join in the celebrations of the 25th Anniversary.

Before the trip we were able to pre-order special T-shirts which were waiting for us on our arrival.  Amanda had gifts for me, one of them being this gorgeous scarf which matched the t-shirt perfectly, along with a lovely tote bag with my name embroidered on.  The next picture was taken from Shelli's blog, you can visit it here, Michelle had brought flags which was a great idea.

I have lots of other pictures from this day but unfortunately I am not able to share them with you yet as we saw lots of sneak peak products which are not yet available in the European Market, hopefully they will be with us soon!

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere was amazing and we met so many lovely people.

Things are sooooo busy around here, with preparation for classes and my upcoming trip on the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip to Salt Lake City, Utah there is definitely no time for anything at the moment!  I can't tell you how excited  and very proud I am to be able to attend this trip and this time next week I will be at the American Convention, having way too much fun no doubt.

So back to my Scrapbook layout

Last week Sophie had her prom and she was very excited about the whole thing and couldn't wait for her day to arrive.  This photo was taken just before we were about to leave.

My colour combo is Basic Black, Smoky Slate and Strawberry Slush.

This large flower image is the "Boutique Blossom" stamp, it's one of the new Single Stamps that are available, here stamped in Smoky Slate, one of our new colours.

The "sweet, sweet moments" is from the "Happy Day" stamp set, along with the lovely flourish that frames it, stamped onto one of the new "Deco" Framelits labels {{love}}.  The 3 lacy images at the top are also from the same set.

The large scallop circle is from the new "Circles" framelits dies.

The oval stamp "I'm so grateful there's you in the world" is from another new set called "Chalk Talk", here stamped in Whisper White ink onto Black Cardstock, dusted with the embossing buddy to give a chalkboard effect.

I used a little Washi tape to the left of the photo and added one of the Essentials Hardware Clips at the top
