Congratulations for Team Members

I wanted to share with you today some cards that I made for Team members recently.  Using two of my favourite colours, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe, both in colours that will sadly disappear mid way through this year.

You know I love the Dragonfly Dreams set as I have shared lots of projects using it, I find it so easy to create with!

Another fabulous product are the So Detailed Thinlits dies, oh my, how pretty this lacy flowery die cut is, it's part of a set of three, you must go and check it out, just click on one of the product pictures on my supplies list to be directed to my online shop.

Happy New Year cards

I wanted to send out some "New Year" cards this month, last year I used my large number dies but this time I wanted something different.

I came across a similar thing on Pinterest how they used a Christmas bauble and decided that I could use my new

Up and Away Thinlits

to solve my large bauble situation!

I used the same colour combo but changed the gold to our fabulous Copper foil card.

I love how it turned out and I got to use up lots of scraps of cardstock too.

My colour combo is

Basic Black
Blessing Bride
Smoky Slate
Copper
Whisper White

The spotty smoky slate designer paper is from the Sale-a-bration pack called Carried Away, FREE with any £45 spend

Here's the set of Thinlits, you can see the combination of dies I used to create my card.

You can of course purchase the Lift Me Up stamps as a bundle with the Thinlits and save yourself 10%.

Rose Wonder sneaky peak

I've had a lovely break over the Christmas holidays, spent some lovely time with family, had some gorgeous gifts and I'm looking forward to the New Year and the launch of the Spring/Summer Catalogue and Sale-a-bration promotion!

Today I'm sharing a card we will be making at one of my 6 Card Classes during January, it uses a new stamp set and thinlits die set that will be available as a bundle, meaning you save 15% when purchasing both at the same time.

My colour combo is

Hello Honey
Lost Lagoon
Blackberry Bliss

all In Colours from last year, a gorgeous combination!

I ran the Rose Garden thinlits die through my big shot using Whisper White cardstock and attached it to a Brick Wall embossed layer of Hello Honey.

The birthday greeting image is from the "Rose Wonder" stamp set, and I used the label die from the thinliets set to cut it out, adding a punched bitty butterfly in Blackberry Bliss.

The strip of DSP (designer series paper) is from the Sale-a-bration offering which means that if you place a £45 order during the qualifying period of 5th January to 31st March then you can choose an item for FREE from a huge selection.  This paper is called "Wildflower Fields" and there is a gorgeous stamp set that works well with it.

Don't forget that you can still order from the

this continues until 4th January so it's not too late!

Place your order online, there will be a new Hostess Code beginning New Year's Day and if you spend over £25, apply the code to your online order and I will send you a little gift in the post to say thank you for shopping with me!

Always someone to thank

I think there's always a reason to say "Thankyou" to someone in the way of a card, even the smallest thing can call celebration with a thanks!  Well that's my opinion anyway, any excuse to give a card or little treat bag of sweets decorated with a handmade tag!  The delight on the recipient's face, knowing that you thought of them for something they did without even really thinking about it.

Today's card uses a stamp set from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue, one I have used a lot called "Lighthearted Leaves".

My colour combo is Soft Suede, Pool Party and Island Indigo.

I always go to the Woodgrain embossing folder when I am looking for something a little masculine as I think it works really well.

I love the "Greetings Thinlits" dies, a set of three greetings that are a perfect size to add to your cards, you will need a die cutting machine to use these but I can tell you that I just couldn't live without my BIG SHOT machine, it takes cardmaking and papercraft to another level and worth every penny, a fantastic investment.
