Flowerfull Heart

You only have a couple of days left to order this stamp before it goes, the "Whole Lotta Love" promotion finishes on January 27th.  This single stamp is just so pretty and very useful for lots of different occasions from birthdays to weddings, anniversaries and Valentines and at just £8.95 it's great value too.

Onto my card, not the best pictures as the flash overpowered a little which didn't show up the background of the card.

The "Flowerfull Heart" is the main focal point, stamped in Pool Party and heat embossed with Dazzling Diamonds to give a lovely shimmer.  This heart is cut out using the Hearts Framelits dies.

I used "Gorgeous Grunge" with Craft White Ink on the background along with the "Simply Stars" stamps to break up the plain pool party base.

I used a Candy Dot base with brad in a co-ordinating colour, these are available in the four colour families Stampin' Up! carry.  I also slipped on a Paperclip with a piece of silver 1/8th ribbon tied around.

The sneak peak here is the embossed Summer Starfruit layer, it's a gorgeous new embossing folder that is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration offerings this year and I just know it's going to be a popular choice.

Flowerfull Heart

In December I ran a class showing different ways of using the Envelope Punch Board being that it such a versatile tool that is definitely not just for making envelopes!!

Here is one of the projects, a folder containing some little cards.  My class included the Flowerfull Heart Stamp along with a set of the Sweet Sayings Cards and Envelopes and the Sweetheart Treat Bags, all of which are available until the end of January so don't miss out on them as they won't be around for much longer!  The details are on the right hand side of my blog.

We made a "pouch" to hold our cards in, then inside used the Envelope Punch Board to create a pocket to hold the cards and envelopes.

The Sweet Sayings Cards are delicious, with a lovely pattern printed around the border of each heavyweight card base, and matching envelopes in Real Red, Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana.

We used elements from the Sweetheart Treat Bags pack to decorate the cards, here we used one of the Banners and some Bakers Twine from the kit.

The Flowerfull Heart stamp was cut out using the Hearts Framelits dies which co-ordinates perfectly, we daubed around the edges for a soft finish.

For the Card Pouch closure, we simply added punched circles to a paperclip which slipped over the top to keep everything together!  The "Made with Love" stamp is from the Love You More set which is again from this month's promotion so check out the link at the top of my blog.
