My travel documents are here.......

I was so excited to receive my travel documents ready for the upcoming all expenses paid Cruise around the Mediterranean, with thanks to Stampin' Up! for giving me the opportunity to earn this prestigious trip!  Jason and I are looking forward to spending some valuable time with fellow demonstrator friends, we can't wait for this trip which is next month, just a few weeks away!

Thank you to my team members and my amazing customers who are always there to support me at classes and events, without you all the trip wouldn't be possible!

I will be back with you later to share some more projects and further details on my repeat of my "Happy Home" stamp class.

This month's Scrapbooking Class layouts

This week I held my monthly Scrapbooking Class, at this class we create 3 layouts using the same products for each.

Here is the first one, my colour combo consists of Mint Macaron {{love}} and Wisteria Wonder with some Smoky Slate thrown in!

I focussed on the Botanicals range using the stamps and framelits, these have been really popular with you all and you can see why.  The leaves and flower dies are gorgeous.

Sadly the tiny flower punch is retiring, it's from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack and I am actually devastated to hear of it's retirement but I know there will be something that will take it's place!

Thankfully the Petite Petals flower punch is staying (the white flower)

The cute little scallop edge is die cut using one of the dies from the Cutie Pie Framelits Set, you will see a little more from this here soon, we used this die for my recent Big Shot class.

Don't forget to stop by and take a look at the Retirement List, things are selling out quickly but there's still change to get yourself an amazing deal on some gorgeous Stampin' Up! goodies.

Here is a link to the latest list, you can place an online order via my shop and have your goodies delivered direct to your door, or just get in touch and I will add the items onto my next order then you can collect if you are local, or postage will be at cost!

If you are shopping online, please use my HOSTESS CODE if your order is over £25 and I will send you a handstamped card and little gift in the post to say thank you for shopping with me.

Playful Backgrounds, a sneak peak!

How glorious it is looking out there today!  I'm just sharing a quick post this morning as I'm off out to class in about 10 minutes!

I hope you are loving the Retired List discounts, remember, things will sell out really fast, especially the discounted items and lots of things have gone forever already.

You can call or message me with your order, I will be placing regular ones over the next week or simply shop online with me, details are in my previous post.

So onto today's card, a SNEAK PEAK from the upcoming Annual Catalogue.

At On Stage in Telford I was thankful to receive THREE new stamp sets, very exciting!

Today's card uses two of those

Scenic Sayings
Playful Backgrounds

both of which I am loving!

I'm very sad to see that the little flower punch I have used is retiring, it's part of a pack of three and I use these often, but I know the new catalogue is bursting with exciting new products that I can't wait to share with you.

The corrugated cardstock is also retiring, another product I just adore, the texture is amazing!

Well I really must run!

Have a fabulous Wednesday everyone, and try to at least make half an hour for YOU today and be creative!  Would love to hear your comments on my card!

Hugs, Kerry x

Faux Tearing Technique

And finally, the last card from my class, four in total then there's just one more thing to share, a gift box, but more on that later!

For this card we used the

Faux Tearing Technique

I love how easy this technique is, simply tear a piece of copy paper, tape it down onto your base layer of vanilla or white, leaving a gap between the tears.  Daub with your chosen colour between the torn paper being careful not to move them or ink underneath the torn edges.  Once your'e happy you have enough colour, stamp your image then remove the torn copy paper and voila!!

I pulled my Bow Punch from my shelf and used crumb cake cardstock to create my little bow.

I do love texture, this corrugated card from Stampin' Up! is a great addition to our standard card, I love it, ha ha, I do make myself laugh when I type that, I just love it all don't I!!!!!

If you've not tried this technique before, give it a go, it's really easy and very effective!

I hope you've enjoyed the cards I've created with the In The Meadow stamp set, I think it's a great versatile set that you will use for lots of different occasions

More from In The Meadow

The third card from the set of four I created for my

In The Meadow Stamp Class

I just love how simple these images are and how effective a little watercolouring can make them, so so pretty and delicate!
