Watercolour Class

I had planned a class using the stamp set "Indescribable Gift" along with the Blendabilities Pens, but when we heard news that the Blendabilities were being removed from sale due to a manufacturing problem I decided I still wanted to go ahead with the class so changed it to Watercolouring instead.

Watercolouring is a lovely technique, very therapeutic and the result is beautiful.

I used Stazon ink to stamp the image onto the Watercolour Paper, then used an Aqua Painter to take ink from the lid of an ink pad to "paint" with.  I love the Café Bags from Stampin' Up!, they are so useful to package little treats and gifts.

I used Blushing Bride Ink for the flowers, and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.  I handcut with scissors around the outside of the flowers, leaving the central part uncut as I mounted this onto an Oval die cut in Vanilla so the centre part didn't need cutting.

I will share the other projects from this class very soon, in the meantime, you can find the "Indescribable Gift" stamp set priced at just £14.95 for Clear Mount in the Spring/Summer Catalogue, along with that gorgeous lace trim ribbon!

Cafe Gift Bags

I love these little Café Bags, great to package little treats.

I love how they are lined so that you can put cookies and handmade treats inside and they won't make the bag greasy on the outside.

Here I used some of the Trim the Tree DSP which is a very heavyweight Kraft cardstock, perfect for making boxes with.

I stamped a "Merry Christmas" greeting from the "Merry Everything" stamp set and punched out with the co-ordinating "Note Tag" Punch then attached with a Stampin' Up! mini peg.

The Thick Bakers Twine is in Old Olive and can be found in the Autumn/Winter Catalogue.

I hope you like my little treat packaging and come back soon for some more Christmas creations.
