Long time no see!

Remember this little guy, I haven't inked him up for at least a year bless him!

 

Not the best of pictures, the grim weather makes it difficult to get a good one sometimes.

 

Along with the "Dasher" stamp I used "Curly Cute" for my greeting both stamped in Early Espresso.

 

The background was embossed with the "Stripes" Embossing Folder, love this one, it's so classy and perfect for "man cards"!

 

 

 

We used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch to create a frame around the greeting, punched in Pear Pizzazz cardstock to stand out from our Old Olive background.

 

The "Bird Builder" Punch was used for the leaves and the "Boho Blossom Flower" Punch for the Poinsettia, finished with a Silver Brad in the centre.  A simple design but quite elegant.

18th Birthday Card

Another card I was asked to make for an 18th Birthday, this time I chose something soft and subtle and quite feminine.  I originally saw a similar design whilst blog hopping and saved it to my favourites as I loved it so much, Teneale Williams has such a beautiful style.  The colour combo of Soft Suede teamed with Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla is just so gorgeous.

I used "Vintage Vogue" stamps for the flowers and the Butterflies were die cut using the "Beautiful Butterflies" Embosslits Die with the Big Shot Machine.  I used "Curly Cute" for the greeting.

The spotty Pretty in Pink paper is from the Subtles Patterns Paper Stack.

Workshop Make & Take

Do you remember "Vintage Vogue", when it was first released I couldn't put it down and had to hide it for a while as my other stamps were feeling rather neglected!!!

Well I thought that I would rescue it from hibernation and I love it just as much now as I did before!

So here is a Make & Take that was created at a recent workshop.

Our colour combo is Sahara Sand, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Early Espresso, teamed with Very Vanilla, gorgeous!

The background is stamped with "Sanded" using Sahara Sand ink.  The greeting is from the stamp set "Curly Cute" which is true to its name!  The decorative edge on the Early Espresso layer is created using the Scallop Trim Border Punch, one of my favourites at the moment!

Stylish and Simple

Our fourth card uses "Growing Green" stamps, very delicate images but very beautiful.  Our colour combination is Naturals Ivory and Not Quite Navy.  The images were stamped using Early Espresso Ink.  The greeting is from "Curly Cute" which contains 4 lovely greetings.

Once again a very simple design that is easily replicated and would look so different using alternative images and colours.
