Thank You's

I decided to use one of my new stamp sets "Growing Green" on some Thank You cards that I needed to create.  My colour combo is Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla.  I also used one of my new Jumbo wheels for the background, this one is called "Texture" and I love it, I know, I'm doing it again but I really do love it!!!  My main image was stamped with Early Espresso Ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock, this is such a delicate image, just crying out to be watercoloured!  My greeting is from "Pocket Silhouettes" punched out with the new 1 3/8 x 5/8" Oval Large Punch to which I added a daubed edge.

I attached a piece of 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and added a punched flower from the Boho Blossom Punch finishing with one of the new Basic Pearls which are great, self adhesive, so quick and easy.  Behind this layer I added a strip of Pear Pizzazz card just to break up the colour and snipped one end in a "v" shape.  To finish I daubed all around the edge of the Crumb Cake base layer in Early Espresso ink.

Simply Simple

Another birthday card, quite a simple one using Perfect Plum and Pale Plum.  The background is stamped with the tall flower stamp from the Hostess Set "Garden Dream", a truly gorgeous set which has the 2-step stampin feature.  I used the Eyelet Border Punch to corner the Pale Plum layer and to edge the Perfect Plum layer then tied a piece of Silver Elastic Cord with a bow around it.  I attached two silver brads in the top right hand corner and stamped my greeting from the "Pocket Silhouettes" set onto Whisper White and punched out with the Oval Punch.  I layered the greeting onto a Punched Scallop Oval in Pale Plum.  I inked the edges in Perfect Plum ink using a dauber.

Maybe Tomorrow?

I have a few birthday's coming up so have been busy trying to be organised whilst waiting for my UPS man to deliver my order.  For two days it has been out for delivery only to be un-delivered due to "adverse weather".  I was sure he would get to me today as one of my downline Caroline received her order this morning and she's not that far away from me!!

I hope it arrives tomorrow as I have a Class on Tuesday (12th January) that I need to prepare for.  If you would like to book in, email me at stampinkerry@aol.com, same time as usual, 7.00-9.30pm in the Lounge at Whitminster Village Hall, cost is £7.50, light refreshments included, all you need to bring is some adhesive.

My card above was based on a similar sketch that we used at a recent class.  The stamps used are from "Garden Dream", a hostess set, so if you would like to get your hands on this one, give me a call to book a workshop and learn how to receive free stamp sets and free merchandise from the Catalogue.  I have used Perfect Plum and Pale Plum cardstocks and inks.  The greeting is from "Pocket Silhouettes" and cut out using the Oval and Scallop Oval Punches.  I used the Eyelet Border Punch to create shaped corners on the Pale Plum layer and also to edge the Perfect Plum layer.  I attached Silver Elastic Cord behind the greeting for added texture.  The background is stamped with the small flower stamp from "Garden Dream".  My card base is Whisper White.

Purple Pleasures

This was one of the make and takes we completed at November's Monthly Stamp Class in Whitminster.  We used Perfect Plum and Pale Plum inks and cardstock along with Whisper White.  The images and greeting are from "Pocket Silhouettes" stamp set and are so versatile, suitable for any occasion, male or female.  We used the Eyelet Border Punch to create the lovely shaped corners on the card and also on the Perfect Plum layer along the bottom edge.  The greeting was cut using the Oval Punch and layered with the Scallop Oval Punch.  The edges were inked for depth using a dauber direct from the ink pad.  We used a piece of the Silver Elastic Cord wrapped around to create some texture.

If you would like to purchase any products from the Stampin' Up! Catalogue, attend any of my classes or host a workshop, please email me on stampinkerry@aol.com or give me a call.

Thanks for dropping by

Customer Thank You's

I decided to make some envelope cards for my recent customers to say thank you for their orders.  I used Rose Red, one of my favourites, along with Old Olive and Whisper White.  The stamped image is from "Pocket Silhouettes".  I used the Word Window Punch to cut out my greeting and the Scallop Edge Border Punch for interest.  I added a piece of Rose Red Designer Series Paper on the bottom of the envelope, I love these papers, they are so versatile.
