Gift Box Punch Board Box Christmas Packaging

I love how quick and easy it is to create a box using the new

Gift Box Punch Board from Stampin' Up!

Here is made my box using the Trim The Tree Speciality Designer Paper which is AMAZING!  I love how thick the kraft paper/cardstock is, perfect for boxes and bags.  The patterns are gorgeous and the colours are great.

The Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen ribbon is gorgeous, ties perfect bows and can be found in the Autumn/Winter Catalogue.

I created a "lid" for this box, it's not difficult to do and gives a different finish to the usual boxes created with the board.

I added a tag using the "Note Tag" punch, stamped images using the "Cheerful Christmas" then made another tag using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch with more of the Trim The Tree DSP and pegged my smaller tag to it.

Would you like to learn how to use the Gift Box Punch Board and are local to me, why not join one of my classes in the New Year, details to follow soon.

I may even do a "Class in the Post" so do come back to find out more.

Roomie Gifts for Convention

Each year when we go to Convention, we agree to make "Roomie Gifts", usually for the person you are sharing with but as there were only 6 of us we decided it would be nice to make something for each one of us.

So here is my gift, a bag charm.

I stamped onto wooden painted hearts with Black Stazon Ink using the Postage Due and Gorgeous Grunge Stamps

I stamped Petite Petals flowers on to the Typeset Designer Paper, covered with Crystal effects and allowed to dry overnight.  Once dry I punched them out with the Petite Petals Punch then added a Rhinestone to the centre and attached to the heart.

I purchased the Monograms and Droplets from my daughter Sophie who is a South Hill Designs Artist, then attached them to the heart adding a Silver 1/8th Bow and jump rings and a lobster clasp for attaching to it's final destination!

I love how we can use Stampin' Up! products for so many different creations, not just cards but for gifts and home décor too.  The possibilities really are endless!

Monthly Class

Here is one of the Make & Takes from my monthly class last week held in the lounge at Whitminster Village Hall.  We used "One of a Kind" stamps along with So Saffron, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip cardstock.  The flowers are cut out with the co-ordinating "Boho Blossoms" punch and were stamped in Always Artichoke and So Saffron inks.  We placed a silver brad in the centre of one of the flowers for dimension.  We tied a bow on the tag using a piece of the 1/2" Striped Grograin Ribbon and used some of the Designer Series Paper from the "Tea & Crumpets" range.  All edges were inked using a dauber with Chocolate Chip ink.  Our title was placed using the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
