Balloons away handmade Box Card

I love making Box Cards, these are great for any occasion and I love how they fold flat for posting!

Today's little piece of inspiration uses the Lift Me Up Bundle, which you have seen me use a lot for sure as I just love how versatile it is, wedding, baby, young, mature, masculine, feminine, it just works for it all!

This card was part of a set of three we made at a class, it looks complex but really it is quite straight forward, I am considering selling some kits with pre-cut pieces for you to put together at home, but of course you would have to add your own stamped images as I am not permitted to include those.  Watch this space!

I love Blushing Bride and Smoky Slate together, I'm such a plain Jane, adore the subtle colours and struggle with the Brights!

I've also used the Birthday Bright stamp set from the Spring/Summer catalogue, another great selection of greetings to aid your cardmaking.

Soft Skies

I'm here with another "Lift me Up" sample to share with you today.  From my favourite shades of pastels, Blushing Bride, a big favourite of mine.

I've layered the Hot Air Balloon image and clouds over one of our new paper lace doilies which are so so pretty.  They are vanilla on one side, white on the other.

I used my bone folder and a ruler to create two lines at the bottom of my vanilla layer just to add a little texture.

This card really was simple and fast to create, and I love to say thanks even for the slightest thing and what better way with a card that says it all.

Lift me Up into the clouds!

Another card today, featuring the Lift Me Up stamps and co-ordinating Up and Away Thinlits dies.

Loving this set so much, I don't want to put it down as I seem to find lots of occasions that it suits.

Happy New Year cards

I wanted to send out some "New Year" cards this month, last year I used my large number dies but this time I wanted something different.

I came across a similar thing on Pinterest how they used a Christmas bauble and decided that I could use my new

Up and Away Thinlits

to solve my large bauble situation!

I used the same colour combo but changed the gold to our fabulous Copper foil card.

I love how it turned out and I got to use up lots of scraps of cardstock too.
