Touches of Texture

When I received this set on the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip on board the cruise ship around the Mediterranean this year, I knew that I would love being creative with it.  

The Touches of Texture set contains so many beautiful images that just work so well with each other.  It was lovely that we got to stamp on the trip and nice to have the make and take cards designed for us to complete, and even better that we got to take the stamps away with us!

I used a colour combo of

Tip Top Taupe

Sweet Sugarplum

Whisper White

Both colours are from the latest set of In Colours

It's always hard to have a favourite product, but I do really love the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, they are just sooooo useful!

My "Hello" greeting was stamped using the Labeler Alphabet stamps, an amazing set of individual alphabet letters that enable you to spell any word(s) that you desire.

Diorama Card with Foxy Friends

I hope you all had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend, ours consisted mainly of Motocross, a fabulous weekend of racing, with Jack finishing 3rd on the podium so a great result.

I have for you today another card from my recent Foxy Friends class, following from the last card I created a Diorama card with the little kitty sat under a tree.

The tree is of course from the Thoughtful Branches stamps which are only available until tomorrow!

I love how cute this little kitty cat is and how the Foxy Friends stamps enable us to create a multitude of cute little creatures.  Having the co-ordinating Fox Builder Punch makes life so much easier.

Here's a little side view of the card so you can see how it is layered behind the aperture.  It folds completely flat for posting.

So as the month creeps to an end, so does the chances of purchasing the Thoughtful Branches stamps and dies.

Scrapbooking with Love and Affection

Happy Wednesday everyone, a little mid week inspiration from my recent Scrapbooking Class this month.

At each class we create 3 layouts, usually using the same products for each layout.

As much as I was saddened to see the Word Window Punch retire last month, I have to say I am loving the new Classic Label punch, here I punched out my "Love Life" phrases.
