Touches of Texture

When I received this set on the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip on board the cruise ship around the Mediterranean this year, I knew that I would love being creative with it.

The Touches of Texture set contains so many beautiful images that just work so well with each other.  It was lovely that we got to stamp on the trip and nice to have the make and take cards designed for us to complete, and even better that we got to take the stamps away with us!

I used a colour combo of

Tip Top Taupe
Sweet Sugarplum
Whisper White

Both colours are from the latest set of In Colours

It's always hard to have a favourite product, but I do really love the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, they are just sooooo useful!

My "Hello" greeting was stamped using the Labeler Alphabet stamps, an amazing set of individual alphabet letters that enable you to spell any word(s) that you desire.

Happy Home Class projects continued...

I'm back today with the second card from my

"Happy Home" class

This time I used the bench on the hill scene image which could be used for a multitude of occasions, I think that's why I love this set so much, it really is great value for money and just so versatile.

On this card I created a blind for my window, this wasn't my idea at all, I found it whilst browsing Pinterest and liked the look.  Don't you just love Pinterest, it is way too inspiring and you really must set the timer before you pay it a visit or you could be there for hours!

So you might be wondering how I created my scallop edge.....
it's simply from the Squares Framelits Collection dies, the largest square is scalloped so I just used one edge to cut a border!

My vase of flowers was created using another stamp set called

Pictogram Punches

then I punched some cute leaves from the Bird Builder Punch, another item I will be sad to say goodbye to.

Just some gentle colour applied on this image using a Dauber

This month's Scrapbooking Class layouts

This week I held my monthly Scrapbooking Class, at this class we create 3 layouts using the same products for each.

Here is the first one, my colour combo consists of Mint Macaron {{love}} and Wisteria Wonder with some Smoky Slate thrown in!

I focussed on the Botanicals range using the stamps and framelits, these have been really popular with you all and you can see why.  The leaves and flower dies are gorgeous.

Sadly the tiny flower punch is retiring, it's from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack and I am actually devastated to hear of it's retirement but I know there will be something that will take it's place!

Thankfully the Petite Petals flower punch is staying (the white flower)

The cute little scallop edge is die cut using one of the dies from the Cutie Pie Framelits Set, you will see a little more from this here soon, we used this die for my recent Big Shot class.

Don't forget to stop by and take a look at the Retirement List, things are selling out quickly but there's still change to get yourself an amazing deal on some gorgeous Stampin' Up! goodies.

Here is a link to the latest list, you can place an online order via my shop and have your goodies delivered direct to your door, or just get in touch and I will add the items onto my next order then you can collect if you are local, or postage will be at cost!

If you are shopping online, please use my HOSTESS CODE if your order is over £25 and I will send you a handstamped card and little gift in the post to say thank you for shopping with me.
