Stitched Shapes

I have been using the Paisleys and Posies set recently to create some cards for a class I am running today.

Stampin' Up! have given us a "suite" of products that all co-ordinate and you can find them on Page 46 of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue

As my new Stitched Shapes framelits arrived I wanted to create something using them and this is what I came up with for my online customer thank you cards this month.

I am really loving the Copper Foil Sheets we now have too, it really brings everything together as the Paisleys DSP has sheets with copper foil in them.

So just remember the Stitched Shapes framelits are only available until 30th November don't miss out or you will have to wait quite a while until you will see them again as they won't be re-appearing until the release of the Annual Catalogue in 2017.

On Stage at Telford

Last Friday I headed off to Telford ready for the On Stage event that was taking place on Saturday.  This event is for Demonstrators across the UK to attend and we learn, stamp, share, eat, laugh, get VERY EXCITED, especially when we are handed a copy of the upcoming Spring/Summer and Sale-a-bration catalogues!!

On Friday night I was invited to attend a special event called "Centre Stage".  This is for Demonstrators who are at a certain level with a Title of Silver Elite or above and we were very spoilt.

We received the most gorgeous bag, had Dinner and sat through an amazing business presentation by "THE" Bonnie Thurber

So here is the swap I created, it's a little card that doubles up as there's a pocket to place money inside!  I will share a picture of the inside later!

We had such a fun evening at Centre Stage, it's great spending time with people I haven't seen for a while and catching up with them.

Our day began at 9.30am and it was fun packed and as I said, very exciting!

Here's a couple of pictures of my team getting excited about the Prize Patrol, well who doesn't love a free gift, especially when it's a seak peak product!

Thankfully we had lots of breaks during the day, and it was sure a long one, not finishing until 7.00pm but it was crammed with so many things to Inspire us, my head was spinning by the time it reached my pillow that evening!

I came home with a bag full of new products, gifts and swaps which I will share with you very soon.

These events hosted by Stampin' Up! are truly amazing, they keep us ignited and the love and inspiration from everyone is unique, an amazing community be a part of, the atmosphere was brilliant.

I will be heading off to Amsterdam in April with some of my team for the next On Stage Live event and I am already excited!!

Touches of Texture

When I received this set on the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip on board the cruise ship around the Mediterranean this year, I knew that I would love being creative with it.  

The Touches of Texture set contains so many beautiful images that just work so well with each other.  It was lovely that we got to stamp on the trip and nice to have the make and take cards designed for us to complete, and even better that we got to take the stamps away with us!

I used a colour combo of

Sweet Sugarplum

Whisper White

Both colours are from the latest set of In Colours

It's always hard to have a favourite product, but I do really love the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, they are just sooooo useful!

My "Hello" greeting was stamped using the Labeler Alphabet stamps, an amazing set of individual alphabet letters that enable you to spell any word(s) that you desire.

Something for Baby

I recently had a couple of friends give birth to a new baby girl so I decided to make good use of my time and create two cards the same.  I had used this sketch for a recent card and decided to save time deciding on a layout I would just change the stamped images and greeting.

My colour combo is Sweet Sugarplum, Tip Top Taupe teamed with Whisper White.

I used the stamp set called "Something for Baby", a really cut set that includes this gorgeous pram image.

The greeting "peek a boo to someone new" is from the stamp set "Something to Celebrate"

I stamped the pram image with Tip Top Taupe ink and hand cut it out, layering over some Sweet Sugarplum Designer Series Paper (DSP) and plain cardstock in the same colour.  

I used the Elegant Dots embossing folder for the background to give it some texture.

I added an enamel Heart Shape to the pram, I love how our embellishments co-ordinate.
