Thank You

Morning, I hope you all had a lovely weekend, mine was spent celebrating a friend's birthday and the usual venture to Motorcross.

So onto today's card which I created for a class project and also used for a Team Swap at a recent training event.

I used the single wooden stamp "Watercolour Thank You" which is so useful, I love the "watercolour" finish you get with this stamp.

The little flower and leaf stem are from the stamp set "Your Perfect Day" which initially appears as a wedding stamp set but I have used it for so many different occasions.

I punched a border into the Crisp Cantaloupe layer with the lovely Heart Border Punch, with a new catalogue due to land with us at the beginning of June, sadly this is one of the In Colours that will be disappearing and I am already wondering how I will cope without the others, especially Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana!

I wrapped some Thick Bakers Twine in co-ordinating Crisp Cantaloupe around the heart punched layer then stamped the word "so much" and punched it out with the Word Window Punch, then re-inserting into the punch to make it shorter.

Have you checked out this week's

Wondrous Wreath, it's not just for Christmas!

I love how the "Wondrous Wreath" stamps can be used for different seasons of the year, again, it's not just for Christmas!

Here I've created a Thank You card and used colours to deter from a Christmas theme.

So there are some "rules" for using this set which has Framelits Dies to match.

This is another "2 Step Stampin" set and the stamps and dies have little tabs on so that you can line up the images with ease and know how to line the dies up with the stamp, if you so wish!

On my card I didn't make any effort to line them up as I wanted you to see that it still works even if you are a little "shaky" with your stamping and are unable to get a perfect match with the first image you stamped underneath.

I used Pistachio Pudding and Always Artichoke ink for the wreath and added Crisp Cantaloupe Flowers which also have a matching die.

My ribbon knot was tied using the lovely new Gold Satin Ribbon, I'm so glad we have Satin Ribbon back in our Catalogue, it ties lovely bows and perfect knots.
