Hello! Annual Catalogue 2016 – 2017 Blog Hop Week 4

Welcome to the Hello! Annual Catalogue 2016-2017 Blog Hop! You’ll be hopping around 10 amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators blogs, each with an inspirational project, featuring new catalogue products.

Currently you’re visiting Kerry from Gloucestershire in the UK Hello there! You  can continue hopping by using the previous and next buttons at the end of this post.

Now, let’s scroll down to see what I’ve been making.
The "Love and Affection" stamp set was one of the first I received during the pre-order period and I fell in love with it straight away. It's been one of those sets that I really find hard to put down and I've created so many different projects for different occasions.

I've used lots of the stamps from the set to create my card, and used two of the new In Colours Flirty Flamingo and Dapper Denim.

Another new product featuring here are the Layering Squares Framelits Dies, and the first picture doesn't show it very clearly but I created an aperture to frame my flower and leaf spray.

Maybe you can see the aperture better in this picture. I love spots and chose this paper from the "Floral Boutique" Suite, these papers are just stunning, Navy and White, a perfect colour combo to add a "pop of bright"!

Can you see the Floral Boutique Washi Tape too? I've used nearly a whole pack already, you will find a strip along the bottom of my card stuck to a piece of whisper white cardstock. I've also used the co-ordinating Solid Bakers Twine and just had to order more as I was getting low!

Getting excited......

...... that soon I will be able to share the new

On Saturday I attended a Regional Training event in Telford and I have to say I had the most amazing time!

I got to stamp using gorgeous new sneak peak products

Swap card ideas with lots of other Demonstrators

Spend time with 11 of my lovely team members

Saw new products on display before their release on 2nd June

Try out new tools that are coming our way

Watch on stage demonstrations and pick up great business tips

Stampin' Up! Demonstrators really are a great friendly bunch of people, 350 demonstrators attended this event and I was so glad to be a part of it

Being a Demonstrator enables me to share my passions for crafting with others whilst earning a discount on the product and also an income

If you'd like to be a part of this community and join my team, why not get in touch, our call will provide you will all the information you need to know to get started and there will be no pressure from me to sign up, just an informative, informal chat!  If you're looking to just earn yourself a discount on Stampin' Up! products then that is totally fine.

So back to that wonderful day in Telford, I made a little gift for each of my team members attending, a cute little treat pouch containing chocolate!

I've used two of the new 2015-17 In Colours

Mint Macaron

Tip Top Taupe

These are two my favourites from the new selection of In Colours!

The lace trim is also new, comes in each of the new In Colours, love it!!

The greeting is from a fabulous new set called "Sprinkles of Life" and I really like this greeting.  The set has a variety of greetings that work really well with the images contained in it.  The little flower is also part of this set and there's an AMAZING punch that co-ordinates, you'll have to wait to see that one!

Well I have to go and take Alfie out for his walk now as I can actually see Blue Sky and it's been raining on and off most of the day.

I will be back to share with you the beautiful Make and Take card we created at Telford.

Thank You

Morning, I hope you all had a lovely weekend, mine was spent celebrating a friend's birthday and the usual venture to Motorcross.

So onto today's card which I created for a class project and also used for a Team Swap at a recent training event.

I used the single wooden stamp "Watercolour Thank You" which is so useful, I love the "watercolour" finish you get with this stamp.

The little flower and leaf stem are from the stamp set "Your Perfect Day" which initially appears as a wedding stamp set but I have used it for so many different occasions.

I punched a border into the Crisp Cantaloupe layer with the lovely Heart Border Punch, with a new catalogue due to land with us at the beginning of June, sadly this is one of the In Colours that will be disappearing and I am already wondering how I will cope without the others, especially Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana!

I wrapped some Thick Bakers Twine in co-ordinating Crisp Cantaloupe around the heart punched layer then stamped the word "so much" and punched it out with the Word Window Punch, then re-inserting into the punch to make it shorter.

Have you checked out this week's

Mini Treat Bag Framelits Die, so many uses....

I love how versatile this little Treat Bag is, I have created sooooo many different versions for different occasions and you can even make a 3D Gift Bag with it too!

On this occasion, I wanted to make this as a card to include a pocket for some money or a gift voucher.

The "card" in the centre has my greeting and space for writing

then on the reverse is the little pocket for a gift card or some money

The greeting is from a set called "B.Y.O.P" in the new Spring/Summer Catalogue which works perfectly for this project!

Petal Potpourri

For my birthday last year I received the most beautiful card from Trevor Poole who is in my downline and if you have ever been lucky enough to receive a card or swap from Trevor you will know just how beautiful his projects are.  Well my card today was inspired by the card Trevor sent me.

I used a new set from the Spring/Summer Catalogue called

"Petal Potpourri"

and guess what, there's a matching punch that works with the large flower called the

"Flower Medallion"

If you purchase both stamps and punch together you can save 15% on a bundle offer

I love the little scallop flower image, here I stamped it in Blushing Bride Ink onto Blushing Bride cardstock and used a Rhinestone in the centre.  Thankfully our little 7/8" scallop circle punch cuts this out with ease!

I used the Bitty Butterfly punch with some Vellum and Blushing Bride cardstock then added some leaves using the Bird Builder Punch.

My crumb cake frame is from a Framelit Die set called "On Film", love this!

You will also see that I've used Gorgeous Grunge stamps on the background too!

If you would like to re-create this card, you can purchase any of the products via my online shop

or call or email with your order
