Envelope Punch Board Pocket Card

I will never get tired of the Envelope Punch Board, it is just such an amazing tool to own and so very versatile.  Here I've used it to create this pocket card.

Following on from yesterday's card, this was made at the same class so the colours and stamps are the same, here just an extra addition, "Around Array", a cute little set with small scallop circle images and yes, you guessed it, there's a matching punch to make life easy for you!

Here's how the card opens and closes, the tabs are created using the Envelope Punch Board and they make the closure by slotting inside each other.

And finally a close up of the front.

If you'd like to learn more about the Envelope Punch Board, why not host a party or book a private class in your home, min 6 people required.  Call me on 07717 068909 or email me at stampinkerry@aol.com for more information.

Butterflies and Flowers......

...... are valuable images to have as they are just so versatile.  Butterflies are also great for hiding little mistakes too!

Here I've used the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set which has two different sizes of Butterflies in a variety of designs and the great news is that we have 2 co-ordinating punches, the Elegant Butterfly and the Bitty Butterfly.

My colour combo is

Whisper White
Crumb Cake
Coastal Cabana

You may notice that the embossing folder used for the centre of the Labels Framelits has now sadly retired but this can be substituted with any other folder.

I have used the Naturals White Cardstock, it has a rough finish with "sawdust" pieces in and it's great for card bases as it's a good weight.  It's amazing value at just £6.75 for 40 sheets!

I also used one of my favourite sets, Petite Petals along with it's co-ordinating Punch.  I just can't get enough of this set, I'm finding it really hard to put down.  Adhesive Basic pearls adorn the centres of the flowers.

The "hello" banner is from the "Perfect Pennants" stamp set, cut using the co-ordinating Banner Framelits Dies.

I used one of the Needlepoint embossing folders to create the lovely embossed border at the bottom of the card.

More Class Projects.....

So for the next session of crafting at my All Day Class, here is what was created.  I was inspired by something I had done at a recent team training and just adapted it which made it look very different.

I love how a slider card gives such a "wow" every time it is shown, such a simple process with the ribbon which makes it slide.

So again, papers are from the "Patio Party" DSP pack which is on a HALF PRICE offer on the retired list, but don't delay, lots of things are selling out fast!

We used the Apothecary Accents Framelits dies and also one of the ovals for the centre.

The gorgeous butterfly is from the stamp set "Papillon Potpouri" punched out with the Elegant Butterfly punch.

The "floral fusion" sizzlit dies makes beautiful posies at ease, here centred with an Antique Brad, so delicious!

A lovely layered butterfly to add dimension

And here's the slide in action...

The second project for this session was this note pad holder with pen, as you can see the base is a "perspex leaflet holder".  I have had one of these sitting in my craft room window for ages, just waiting for an idea to come into my head, and this was the result.

The "Letter It" stamps were stamped then punched out with the small oval punch, yet again, another item that is sadly retiring so if you would like to order a set, just get in touch.

This time we used another butterfly from the "Papillon Potpourri" stamp set and some co-ordinating stitched satin ribbon in Midnight Muse

The border was created with the "Dotted Scallop Ribbon" border punch

Here's the reverse side of the spotty paper so that everyone could see how different it looked.

This could be designed in lots of different ways, it would look lovely with the Natural Composition DSP

Here is a card using one of the FREE Sale-a-bration Stamp Sets called "Madison Avenue", love the leafy stamp with flower heads that can be mixed and matched!

The Designer Paper is called "Sycamore Street" and is also a sneak peak, I used the lovely Rich Razzleberry spot design here.  There are also co-ordinating buttons and ribbons available too but I will share those another time.

The butterfly is from the "Papillion Potpouri" stamp set, inked with Pool Party ink and adorning a Rhinestone, the greeting from "Friendly Phrases".  Isn't that butterfly cute, keep your eyes peeled for something coming that will bring him/her to life!!!

The flower on the right co-ordinates with the Floral Framelits dies which is great. I used the Bitty Punch pack for the centres of both flowers, the tiny Pool Party circle image is part of the Madison Avenue set.

I am really looking forward to spending Sale-a-bration with you all and sharing the wonderful exclusive products with you.

Scrapbooking

I can't believe that my little angel has turned 16, and more to the point my son was 18 recently too!!

A very simple layout with not too much detail, straight to the point, no journalling but pretty in itself too.

The papers are from "Floral District", love the colour combinations of Rich Razzleberry and Baja Breeze teamed with some daffodil delight which I toned down by using a neutral base.

More from the lovely "Papillion Potpourri" butterfly stamps which I also stamped onto the crumb cake base with the same ink colour.

A close up of the tone on tone butterflies and the lovely "Finishing Touches" edgelits ziz zag border.
