Beautiful Butterflies

And finally the last card in the set of three we made at a recent class, focussing on the Six Sided Sampler Stamp set and Butterflies thinlits dies from Stampin' Up!

This is my favourite Butterfly Die, very intricate and cuts out perfectly if you use some double sided wax paper, although others use Tumble Dryer sheets and have success too!

Loving the greeting "Happy Birthday", the mix of fonts, the styles, love it, and it's from the Cottage Greetings stamp set.

Second card from my class

Yesterday I spent the day with my daughter Sophie visiting Edge Hill University in Liverpool for an Open Day.  She has set her heart on going here next year and had our day mapped out weeks ago, such a well organised little angel she is!

We had a lovely day and I too fell in love with the place, but reality actually hit that I will be losing her to the big wide open world and although we are very close, I plan on spending much more time doing things together with her.  We spend so much time living our everyday lives that time slips away with us and we should plan more things into our diaries and make them actually happen instead of just talking about it!

Back to today's card, at the majority of my monthly classes, we make 2-3 cards using the same stamps and materials that co-ordinate.

Here is the second card from a recent class, the first one in my previous post.

Gorgeous colour combo of

Bermuda Bay
Rich Razzleberry
Very Vanilla

I can't get enough of the Labels Framelits Dies, I'm using them on everything, such a great set of dies at an amazing price!

Again, the Six Sided Sampler stamp set is very versatile, offering a solution for most occasions and it's so easy to use with the co-ordinating Hexagon Punch.

The cute die cut Butterfly is from a new set called Bold Butteflies and again I can't seem to put this down either!

I hope you like today's card, why not try this colour combo out for yourself!

Love these Hexagons!

I love how versatile the

"SIX SIDED SAMPLER"

stamp set is and how quickly a card comes together when I use it

I also love that Stampin' Up! has a Punch that co-ordinates with it, coincidentally called the "Hexagon" Punch.

Today's card uses a colour combo of

Bermuda Bay
Rich Razzleberry
and
Very Vanilla

I have also used the new Butterflies framelits dies called

"Bold Butterflies"

and yet again the

"Boho Chic" Embossing Folder has made an appearance, I'm sooooo loving this at the moment!

On my desk today I have been playing with some new Christmas stamps and accessories and I can't wait to share them with you.

Sale-a-bration Sneak Peak

Sale-a-bration is just around the corner, the most amazing promotion Stampin' Up! has to offer, it's the best time of the year as you are able to earn yourself FREE exclusive products.  If you host a party during the promotion you can earn extra goodies with your Hostess Credits.

Sale-a-bration begins on 28th January and runs right the way through to 31st March so you have plenty of opportunities of earning yourself lots of lovely FREE goodies that are being offered.

Now I can't share any actual products with you just yet as it's a secret, but I can show you some projects I have created!

So here's a gorgeous gift presented using one of the Sale-a-bration offerings this year.  A lovely kit containing spotty cellophane gusseted bags, tags, ties and glimmery hearts that will be so useful for so many different occasions.

I love the twisty ties, they are double sided so that when you twist them like you do for sandwhich bags you can view both sides whereas here, I folded the edges around the top of my cello bag as I wasn't scrunching it up and the wire inside the tie held it nice and firmly shut.

I decorated the striped tag using flowers from the Boho Blossom punch.

Inside I decorated a glassine bag to contain the gift for Caroline, again more flowers from the Boho Blossom punch and some coordinating paper from the 12x12" Paper Stack.  The large white hexagon with the Island Indigo border is also from the kit and I stamped a hexagon from the Six Sided Sampler stamp set to go with it, this is great as it has a matching punch.

The Crisp Cantaloupe thick twine is from another Sale-a-bration gift, can't wait to share that one with you.

I used Washi tape to cover a peg.

And the finished gift again, I loved it and I think Caroline did too!

Six Sided Sampler

I love how versatile the "Six Sided Sampler" set can be, great for so many occasions and brilliant for "man" cards.

So today, no "man" card in sight I'm afraid although I do have plans for an upcoming class!

My colour combo is:

Blushing Bride
Smoky Slate {{love}}
Whisper White

I stamped the 3/4" circle out of the hexagon before punching out the actual hexagon, it is so much easier this way!

The greeting is from the same set, stamped onto a strip of whisper white then using the Hexagon punch to nick out the ends.

I love the new Chevron ribbon and teamed it with the matching Embossing Folder then added some butterflies using the Bitty and Elegant Butterfly punches.

and here's an image of the stamps that come in the set, to purchase yours just email me at stampinkerry@aol.com
