Just Because

Morning all, a bright and breezy day out there today, I was hoping it was going to be a little warmer so that I could continue with my Madeira Swaps in the garden but it's still a little fresh at the moment!

 

So today's card is a really sweet and simple one

 

I've used one of my fave sets from the pre-order selection called

"Your'e so Sweet"

 

 

I love how it co-ordinates with the

"Mini Treat Bag" Thinlits Dies

 

I've used a couple of the new In Colours

 

Tip Tip Taupe

Delightful

 

I stamped the Heart image then punched it out using the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.  I punched a Tip Top Taupe small heart and stuck it over the word "love", adding a tiny pearl.

 

The "Just Because" greeting is from the same set and I love how this then makes the card suitable for various occasions or events.

I have been getting so much use from my new stamp set

"Something to Say"

 

I love the little flower image that is included in this set of greetings and the fact that it has a matching punch makes it more appealing!

 

 

I've used patterned papers from the "Moonlight" mini paper stack, just £6.25 for 48 doubled sided sheets of designer paper, measuring approx. 4 1/2" x 6 1/2", perfect for your card layers.

 

 

The long brush lines at the bottom of the tag are from "Work of Art", another new set, here stamped in Lost Lagoon, one of the new In Colours.

 

The flowers are stamped in Hello Honey, another new In Colour and you can see that we have matching ribbons for these colours.

Stampin' Saturday

Yesterday afternoon, in a moment of lonliness, I decided to invite a couple of friends around to be creative with me as I knew I was going to be "home alone".  I prepared a make and take project using the wonderful "Circle Circus" and Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper.  We had a lovely time, chilling out, being creative and discussing the endless possibilities produced with this stamp set.  Thank you ladies for coming along, hope you enjoyed yourselves!

I also did a little demonstration using one of the "Love Notes" envelopes, with the "One of a Kind" stamp set, this is just so cute.  The paper is from the "Bella Bleu" Designer Series Paper.

Gift Box

I saw the template for this cute little gift box on Amanda's blog and thought that I would give it a go.  I have used the Designer Series Paper in Chocolate Chip and used the Chocolate Chip cardstock, along with the Scallop Edge Punch to create a border around the bottom, which is difficult to see in the photo as it is quite dark.  I also used the Circles Punches to cut out my stamped image along with the ribbon holes and the Oval Punch to create the handles.  So cute, just the right size for one of those cute minature boxes of chocolates you can buy.
