Notecard Box using the Envelope Punch Board

This project uses the AMAZING Envelope Punch Board to create a 3D envelope to encase some simple notecards.

I love the "Notecard and Envelope" sets, they are a great size, smaller than the standard envelopes Stampin' Up! offer.

This was another class project, everyone received half a pack of the notecards, along with the Magnificent Maple stamp and a tub of the Vintage Designer Buttons.  Here we embossed the vintage buttons using "Pewter" embossing powder, the result is amazing!

The outer design matched the cards inside and I secured the envelope using Organza ribbon which slides on and off.

Notepaper & Gift Card Holder

Here I used one of the Large Stamp Cases to create a Notecard/Notepaper gift set.

The case has a plastic covering so you can slip in some DSP to pretty it up, here I stamped my initial using the "Morning Post" alphabet stamps and then layered it onto a stamped image from "Chalk Talk" and cut out with the co-ordinating framelits set.

The designer paper here I used is called "Eastern Elegance", the same which was used on the flowers on the mirror on my previous post.  I loved the colours in this pack.

Here's the inside containing note cards and some monogram note paper.

At the class everyone received the "Magnificent Maple" single stamp so we used it on most of the projects.

I designed a pocket that would fit the notecard envelopes using the Envelope Punch Board

Hope you like the idea, these stamp cases have so many uses.

Magnificent Maple

I am loving the "Magnificent Maple" single stamp, perfect for this time of the year with the leaves falling from the trees but a great stamp for any time of the year.

I love the detail in the leaf, so delicate and intricate yet by just stamping directly onto cardstock gives such amazing depth.

The flower is from a Hostess set called "Morning Meadow" which co-ordinates with the Pansy Punch but there is a set you can purchase which has very similar images called "Flower Shop".

I used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to create some texture on the background layer of Coastal Cabana cardstock.

The greeting is from the "Wetlands" stamp set punched out using the Oval Punch, then finished with some DSP from the Quatrefancy Pack and a piece of co-ordinating Ruffle Stretch Ribbon in Strawberry Slush

Christmas Banner Kit Projects

So today was spent mostly on the road, as Jason is away car racing in Snetterton it was down to me to drive Jack to Leeds to buy a new car!!  We left at around 8.00am and didn't arrive home till nearly 5.00pm.  A 3 hour drive each way with a little stop in between "doing the deal"!!  I found the driving really tiring and glad that we have a taxi arranged to take us to Manchester for the 2013 Convention in less than 2 weeks time.  I am getting so excited but have so many tasks to complete in the meantime.

Onto another project using the Simply Created "Christmas Banner Kit"

So here is the kit itself

For £8.95 you get
Die Cut Glittery Snowflake Accents
4 Patterned Paper Strips pre-scored for rosettes
Patterned Paper Circles for Rosette Centres
Large Rhinestones
2 Pieces of Silver 1/8" Ribbon
2 Pieces 2-tone Ribbon in Bermuda Bay/Pool Party
Whisper White 5/8" Taffeta Ribbon
5 Faceted Designer Buttons

Here is a card I created with parts of the kit.  You can see I used Ribbons, a Rhinestone and a Patterened Paper circle.  The 1 1/4" Two Tone ribbon is gorgeous.

Here's a closer shot of the ribbon

I used the "Flower Shop" set for the pansy flower then the single stamp "Magnificent Maple" which has so much detail on.  The greeting is from the "Wetlands" stamp set die cut using a framelit from the new "Thinlits Circle Card" set.

I hope you are enjoying the projects I have created with the kit, come back soon for some more inspiration.
