Flourish Thinlit Dies

This has to be one of my favourite sets of dies at the moment, the Flourish Thinlets, it's hard to choose with such an amazing array to choose from, but there's something that puts this Flourish Thinlits Set in a league of it's own.

I love how it is just so delicate, yet intricate and pretty at the same time!  

My favourite die in the whole set is the four leaf flower, here I cut it in white cardstock and centred with a Rhinestone.

You can purchase the dies on their own or as a bundle with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set, here they are together....

You can create a smaller version of the four leave flower by cutting sections from the long border die.

I love how great the Kraft cardstock co-ordinates with the new Burlap trim.

This month's Scrapbooking Class layouts

This week I held my monthly Scrapbooking Class, at this class we create 3 layouts using the same products for each.

Here is the first one, my colour combo consists of Mint Macaron {{love}} and Wisteria Wonder with some Smoky Slate thrown in!

I focussed on the Botanicals range using the stamps and framelits, these have been really popular with you all and you can see why.  The leaves and flower dies are gorgeous.

Sadly the tiny flower punch is retiring, it's from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack and I am actually devastated to hear of it's retirement but I know there will be something that will take it's place!

Thankfully the Petite Petals flower punch is staying (the white flower)

The cute little scallop edge is die cut using one of the dies from the Cutie Pie Framelits Set, you will see a little more from this here soon, we used this die for my recent Big Shot class.

Square Pillow Box die

I am officially in love with this cute little box, created using the Framelits Die set called the Square Pillow Box.

 

I love how useful the size is, will fit an array of small gifts and treats and of course it really isn't just for Christmas even though there are some little Christmassy dies included.

 

I love that it includes two window dies too!

 

Sadly this set is on the RETIRED LIST for the Autumn/Winter catalogue which means it will be disappearing so don't miss out on this great little addition to your die sets.

I will miss these cute little wooden snowflakes, love that you can colour them with a dauber or spritzer or even add some glitter!

 

I'm on my long day out today, two classes back to back so will be home later this evening but hoping for some good light in the morning to snap some more pictures of creations to share with you!  It's not proving easy at the moment, the sky is so grey, but hey, fear not, it's December and Christmas is on it's way!!

Happy Scene's bring Happy Days

I am gradually working my way through my lovely new Stampin' Up! products from the just released Autumn/Winter Catalogue and I was so ex.cited to mount these stamps and get die cutting with the co-ordinating Window Frame Die

 

 

 

The new stamp set is called

"Happy Scenes"

 

and I love that we have a new Window Frame die that works with it.

 

I can see ENDLESS creations using this combination of products and the window frame teamed with other stamps I already have too!

 

So here's today's card.......

 

 

 

My aim for this card was to make it masculine as we really don't create enough man cards!

 

I used the Spritzer with some rubbing alcohol and Early Espresso Ink inside to create a spritzed background which I then ran through my Bigshot with the Woodgrain embossing folder, love this effect.

 

I stamped my "scene", then used a sponge to add some colour for the grass and sky.  I cut out my window frame with Crumb Cake cardstock and used dimensionals and placed over my scene that I had stamped.

 

I added a Linen Thread bow and some vellum leaves then attached to my card base, adding a greeting and a strip of the gorgeous Corrugate Card which I just can't get enough of at the moment!

 

This really is straight forward, the scene and window are so easy to create and although it may look complex, it really isn't.
