Bringing you some Good Cheer!

The launch of the Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter catalogue last month has really sparked my festive creativity.  Now I know it's not for all of you, you don't like to start until at least mid November but in my eyes, the earlier the better, things get so hectic as we near Christmas that to have your cards ready and prepared for sending by the beginning of December is a good plan which leaves the rest of the month to finishing off your shopping and wrapping!

So today I'm sharing a really simple card, created using a stamp set called "Stitched with Cheer".  I love, love, love the snowflakes in this set, there are three in total and love how you could just create a whole background with these stamps alone.

I have teamed Whisper White with Mint Macaron and a smidge of gold.  Now I wasn't really a gold person, personally found Silver more to my taste but Gold has grown on me of late.

I recently had a good tidy up of my workspace and invested in a few gold accessories to make my desk look pretty rather than messy lol!  Maybe I will share a picture??

I created a simple tag using a rectangle of whisper white cardstock then snipped off the corners to create a tag shape.  I added some of the gorgeous Gold twine to make a bow then used my handy Cookie Cutter Punch to cut some teeny little hearts from Gold Glimmer paper.  I have to say the new Precision Glue is perfect for sticking down tiny punch outs or embellishments.

This stamp set "Stitched with Cheer" has been designed to co-ordinate with the co-ordinating Project Kit, see below

and I also love that the little holly and berries can be punched out using the Holly Berry Builder Punch.  I just love how Stampin' Up! make it easy for us to craft and produce professional looking projects.

Don't forget today is the last opportunity to get up to 25% off selected products on the World Card Making Day offer, full details in my previous post

A bit of Love and Affection for you today

So it's Thursday already, where is this week going to!

Today's snip of creativity uses a gorgeous new stamp set called

"Love and Affection"

This set contains an array of flowers, leaves, stems and greetings too and I've struggled to put it down as I've found it so useable.  It is part of the Affectionately Yours Suite consisting of stamps, papers, ribbons, wash tape and more products that co-ordinate with each other.

Garden in Bloom

Morning everyone, hope you are having a great start to the weekend.

Today I am sharing a recent card from my 6 Card Club, at this class we create 6 simple but sweet cards for £10.

I've had the Garden in Bloom stamp set for a little while now but have only just got around to inking it up and I have to say I am in love with how pretty and simple it is!

It's a 2 Step Stamp set which means we use more than one stamp, layering them to create our finished image, but what I love about this set is that you don't have to stamp in 2 stages, you can just use the stamps individually and they work really well.  The stamps are also not solid images so they have depth to them too.

Onto my card, as per usual, pretty subtle with my colours lol!

Here I used So Saffron, Tip Top Taupe and Whisper White

I inked up the outline of the flower first and stamped onto Whisper White card, then for the second part of the flower, the solid image, I inked it up in So Saffron them stamped it off onto my grid paper before lining up with my first outline image, this way I had some second generation colour making it paler so that the outline image was more defined.

I've used another favourite stamp set here called

Awesomely Artistic

Love, love, love this set, so pretty and delicate.  The background flower, splats and label were all from this set.
