Blending with the Blendabilities Pens

I have another card from my "Blended with Blooms" class where everyone received a pack of the new Blendabilities pens.

The Blended Blooms single stamp is perfect for colouring, and I know you all love colouring, it's so relaxing right?

I've used another new stamp set here called "World of Dreams", the leaves and greeting are both from this set.

I stamped the flower, coloured it then cut it out and layered it with Dimensionals to give it a little height.

Hope you like the effect the Blendabilities give you, it is simple to create this and I would love to show you how at a class or party in your home!

Papillon Potpourri just for you

Butterflies are perfect images for any occasion and the Papillon Potpourri set is a great one to own as it includes 6 lovely butterfly images that all co-ordinate with 2 punches that we have in the catalogue.  Having a punch can really speed up things and that is one thing I love about Stampin' Up!, the co-ordination.

#123759 - £13.95 Clear Mount
#132058 - £16.95 Wood Mount

My colour combo is Basic Black, Bermuda Bay and Very Vanilla, quite classy.

I also used the stamp set Flowering Flourishes which I stamped onto the Vanilla layer as a subtle background.

Flowering Flourishes #126367 - £17.95 Clear Mount
#131998 - £21.95 Wood Mount
I used the Starburst Framelits Dies for the Black zig zag circle then layered with a circle punched from designer series

Love the Chevron Ribbon, so glad it is making it's way into the new catalogue!

I find it really hard to make flat cards as you can see here from my layers.  If I plan on posting something then I try to keep my layers minimal.

There's lots of items still available on the Retired Lists

Project Life by Stampin' Up! is here!

The wait is over......

Get ready for a scrapbooking revolution with Project Life! It helps busy people (so basically all of us) document life using photos and journaling in a quick, simple, and fabulous way. We’ve partnered with Becky Higgins, creator of Project Life, to offer a complete line of elite products.

Becky explains, “It's called Project LIFE because it's about YOUR LIFE. Whatever your life is. Whatever your stage of life. Whatever your family circumstances. Whatever your lifestyle. Project Life is designed to help anyone and everyone get their pictures into a book.”  In a nutshell, it’s all about spending more time making memories and less time scrapbooking them.

Here is the list of items you can purchase, when the new Catalogue is released on 1st July there will be a larger selection of products for you to select from.

Here is my very first page, I absolutely love how quick and easy this form of scrapbooking is and I can't wait to create more!  All I need is to add some journaling and it's done!

There's a couple of sneak peaks of upcoming products on my layout, can you spot them??

Tag Topper Punch Treat Wrap

I love making little treat packaging, I think it's so nice to give sweet treats for no reason at all and the cost is usually pence!

I do spend some time in the sweet aisle at the Supermarket searching for chocolates that are individually packaged.

Here I used the Scallop Tag Topper punch to create my treat wrap and I designed it to give with the card I showed you a couple of days ago.

I began with a strip of Primrose Petals cardstock cut at just under 2" width to fit inside the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, punched it at either end then ran my bone folder along the centre to stop it creasing when I looped it.

I used the same stamps as previously, Papaya Collage for the label and butterfly image and layered it to the front, this time I added a Window Frame from the framelits set and daubed around the edge to give it some depth.

Inside I popped a chocolate bunny attaching with a Glue Dot so that it didn't get lost.

and here are the final projects together, would make a lovely gift and very inexpensive at that.

Tag Topper Table Treats

I love our new addition Tag Topper Punches, you can find them in the Spring Summer Catalogue.

Here I used the Angle Tag Topper, we also have a more decorative one, the Scallop Tag

I cut strip of cardstock, scored lines either side of the middle point then punched each end with the Angled Tag Topper Punch to create a little pouch.

I love how these punches have so many uses, not just for creating a simple tag as you would imagine.

I used gold Washi Tape to decorate it and tied the top with the Gold Bakers Twine.

The image in the centre is from the "Mosaic Madness" stamp set which has a co-ordinating punch to make life easier!

The Angled Tag automatically punches a hole at the top, perfect for tying ribbon through.

More from Papaya Collage

Another creation using Papaya Collage, I try and recycle my ideas as far as I am able to, so I used the same principle with the circle layers surrounding the butterfly as per my previous post, changed the layout and colours and hey presto, a totally different card.

My colour combo here is Primrose Petals (retiring), Raspberry Ripple (Retiring), Pool Party and Whisper White.

So Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple are two of the 2013/14 In colours which will be retiring at the end of this month.

I will be sad to see them go but we will have 5 new In Colours to keep us refreshed.

The greeting is from "Wetlands", an amazing set that is great for creating masculine projects.

Wetlands #126697 £15.95

The Stitched Grosgrain ribbon is also a retiring product, I just love how Stampin' Up! products co-ordinate, it makes things so easy to put together.

This Oval and Scallop Oval punch were the very first items I bought from Stampin' Up! back in 2009 when I discovered the products.

Papaya Collage sadly retiring

The card I am sharing with you today shows a couple of stamps that are sadly retiring, Papaya Collage and Love and Laughter

Papaya Collage # 126612 £22.95

Love & Laughter # 125477 £16.95

My colour combo is Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar and Pool Party teamed with Whisper White.  This was one of my Big Shot Class projects and we used several framelits dies, include the Oval set to create an aperature in the Crisp Cantaloupe layer

The sentiment is from the "Love & Laughter" set

The leaf, butterfly and label images are all from Papaya Collage, a set I received at a past Convention

The butterfly is very pretty with lots of detail

I have to say I am sooooooo going to miss the Bitty Punch Pack, the little flowers here are from that set, a set of little punches that I use so much and I wonder how I will survive without them!

A close up of the greetings, these are two separate stamps that I have lined up as if to appear as one single stamp

The splattered background is from the "Gorgeous Grunge" stamp set, thankfully this set is making it's way into the 2014/15 catalogue :)

The flower in the centre of the butterfly is again from the Bitty Punch Pack

Different die cut layers add depth to the card, here I used the Circles and Starburst Dies, the scallop outer later is a Punch.

If you would like to purchase items from the catalogue before they disappear forever......
