Inspiring Inkin Annual Catalogue 2014-2015 Launch Blog Hop

So today I am taking part in the Inspiring Inkin Blog Hop and I am glad that you have stopped by as there are lots of treats in store for you, just follow the links to get in on the hop!

So here is my card...

I have several sneak peaks from the new 2014/15 Catalogue

Firstly the larger flower, die cut from a new set of dies called "Flower Fair" which has a matching stamp set, don't we love that!  I was lucky enough to win this framelit set whilst on the Caribbean Cruise last month and I can tell you I am eager to own the stamps to go with it!

The little flower in the centre is from another new stamp set which primarily contains greetings but has 3 lovely little images, one being the flower!  The great thing about it is that we have a new set of mini punches to go with it.  Stampin' Up! really do like to help us aid speed crafting lol!  The glittery star is another punch from that set.

The greeting is also from the same set as the mini flower, it is called "Something to Say".

The spotty stamp is from a new set called "Work of Art" and I know this is going to be a huge seller and I can't wait to share it with you all and we don't have long to wait for that new catalogue to go live!

I'm also using a new colour from the latest set of In Colours, the top flower and banner use "Lost Lagoon" cardstock, it is one of my favourites already!

Well thank you for stopping by, do come back soon but get hopping onto the next blog for some more inspiration!

Big Shot Class

Here's a project we made at this month's Big Shot Class.  We focused on the Squares Framelits dies and the Floral Fusion Sizzlits die.

I used a couple of retiring products, the Bright Blossoms Stamp set, Bring on the Cake Stamp set and the Floral Fusion Sizzlit die.

I used a couple of circle punches to punch out the flower elements, layering them on Dimensionals above the vase.

The Floral Fusion die is lovely layered upon each other as I have done here, but equally the flowers look nice individually with a centre piece.  At just £4.75 this die is a great price.

Bright Blossoms Stamps Clear £11.95

Bring on the Cake Clear £27.95

Mini Easel Notepad

Another class project, an Easel Notepad complete with it's own gift bag.

The elements on the front of the Kraft flower bag are all from the Mini Album Kit that you will find in the Spring/Summer Catalogue.  The bag is designed to become a "Page" in the album but I chose it to be a bag to hold my desktop Easel Notepad.

This is such a cute kit containing everything to create a gorgeous mini album, including covers, inside pages, book rings, doilies, clips and die cut labels, shapes and borders.  If you scroll down you can get a look at the contents.  Please note that the gold butterflies are not included, I punched these with the Bitty Butterfly punch using the Gold foil paper, also in the Spring/Summer Catalogue.

I am constantly making little notes in the kitchen and instead of having a non attractive post it note pad on the side or mini notepad I decided to make something a little more attractive!  It's decoration is simple but could be dressed up a little more if you prefer.  This would make a really nice gift too!

The flower is from "Mixed Bunch" stamps, punched out with the co-ordinating "Blossom Punch".

We are sadly waving goodbye to the Ruffle Stretch Trim ribbon range, I will miss it lots but we will be saying hello to the Decorative Dots embossing folder which made an appearance during Sale-a-bration.

If you would like to create some projects just like these, then why not let me to run a private class in your home or in mine!!  All you need is a minimum of 6 people, tea/coffee and biscuits, I will do the rest!  Please get in touch for more details.

Mini Tag Topper Album

Another project from my all day event on Saturday.

Whilst on the Cruise in May I received a lovely bag of swaps, one of those being a tag album similar to this one and after having lots of comments about it I decided to re-design my own.  I kept to the same sizing but changed my colours and stamps to make it my own.  It would be perfect to pop in some photos, quotes or as someone suggested, great for a colleague leaving present as people could write their farewell messages!

Here's how it looks opened out.  Little pockets containing tags that you could add photo's or messages to.  These would look nice with ribbons tied to the top.

A close up of one of the pockets.  I used the "Dictionary" background stamp with crumb cake ink then stamped butterflies from "Papillon Potpourri" in the same colour daubing around the edges to give it a little vintage feel.

We decorated a little brown block bottom bag to hold the album, adding a simple butterfly to the front and using White Bakers Twine for the closure.

You still have time to grab a bargain from the latest weekly deals, they will change tomorrow so don't delay!

All Day Crafting Event

I always look forward to my all day events, they involve a lot of work but are worth all the time spent ensuring everyone has a lovely creative day

Here is their goody bag, I used a sneak peak stamp "just a little something for you" along with some of the new In Colour cardstock called Lost Lagoon.

I teamed the new Lost Lagoon with Crisp Cantaloupe as I really like them together, cutting layers with the Deco Labels framelits dies.

The Silver Star is a sneak peak item, a cute little punch that is part of a set of 3, love it!

The table treat is a Fererro Rocher in disguise!  I used tissue from the Celebrations Add On Kit, cut to 6" square and wrapped it around the choccy treat and tied with another sneak peak, the Thick Bakers Twine.

I created a tag using the Tag Topper Punch and stamped my wording again, adding a star for some glimmer.

The Flower Punch is another sneak peak, yes, lots of sneak peaks today!  It's from the same set as the Star, love this one too!

Here is the room all set up ready for my ladies to arrive, it doesn't stay like this for long, it is soon buzzing with chatter and laughter!

Here's one of the projects we created, a gift card/money pouch
Sadly I have to tell you that the Bitty Punch Pack has now sold out, here I used one of the punches for my itty bitty flowers,

If you are coming to my BOGOF evening on 30th June you may be in the chance of getting my set!

I used the "Four Frames" stamp sets which co-ordinates with the Decorative Label Punch, stamping into Crumb Cake Ink.  The greeting is from the "Wetlands" stamp set

Wetlands 126697
Price: £15.95

Four Frames - Clear-Mount Stamp 123442
Price: £14.95
I used the Elegant and Bitty Butterfly punches with Blushing Bride cardstock and Vellum.  The leaves are from the Bird Builder Punch.

I embossed a layer of vellum with the Decorative Dots embossing folder which is soon to make a return to the 2014/15 catalogue.

Here you can see how it looks on the inside,

Here you can see the closure, this is created using a new Tab Edgelit Die, another sneak peak!

Another view of the finished project, quite sweet don't you think?

So do you really love the product?

Would you like to get a discount on the product?

Or maybe you'd like to earn some extra money to put towards a family holiday?

Why not get in touch to find out about being a Demonstrator
