Christmas is coming.....

and it will be here before we know it!!

Another creation from my monthly card class, using the lovely Christmas Bauble set call "Ornament Keepsakes".  A great set of stamps that have co-ordinating Framelits Dies to cut them out and if you purchase the stamps and the framelits together you can save 15% off the total price.

My colour combo is Crumb Cake, Gumball Green (In Colour), Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla.

The other stamps used are from "Mixed Medley", the lovely circle greeting and scalloped circle image, both of which have punches to punch them out.  "Mixed Medley" is a Hostess stamp set so if you are liking it, why not host a party yourself and have the opportunity of earning it for free.  It couldn't be easier, a crafty night in with your friends, all you have to do is put the kettle on, I will do the rest!

Back to my card, we used some of the new Tulle in Crumb Cake and wrapped it around the top of the card, tying with some Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine.

The patterned paper is from the "Good Cheer" designer pack, lovely Christmas prints in Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green.

The pictures are'nt very good quality due to the sunlight that was shining in but much nicer in real life so if you fancy booking a space at an upcoming class just give me a call on 07717 068909.

Betsy's Blossoms

We made this card at my monthly 2 Card Class, loving the colours in this paper pack called "Floral District".  I was lucky enough to receive a pack whilst in Vienna so head a real sneak peak of it's beauty.

My colour combo is Rich Razzleberry, Baja Breeze, Rose Red and Gumball Green, not one that I would have thought of putting together but it's nice and fresh, just what we need with winter creeping in on us!

We used the new "Apothecary Accents" Framelits Die to stamp our bird onto then daubed around the edge to make it stand out from our "Lacy Brocade" embossed layer.

The flowers were hand cut and layered with dimensionals, along with the bird's wing.

We framed the greeting with a Rose Red "Bitty Banner" Framelit die cut and added some silver mini brads to finish.  The ribbon is the new Stitched Satin in Gumball Green, available in all 5 of the new In Colours.

I'm back.....

Last Wednesday we travelled to Jersey for the annual 2 Day Motorcross Event and we have been going here since Jack was 6, he will be 18 on Sunday!!

A week before we went the weather was glorious but it soon changed the nearer we got to Wednesday, typcial!  Thankfully our 10 hour ferry crossing was pretty calm, always seems a long journey but with my new Stampin' Up! Catalogue and notepad and pen I was more than happy.

The weather on Friday was OK and we spent the day touring the Island. here we are on the Mini Bus that is loaned to us while we are there, it's not the most modern mode of transport but it gets us around!  Doesn't everyone look happy, that was before the rain came!

On Friday night, the heavens opened, thank goodness for whoever invented Wellies and why did I even consider packing a pair of shorts in the camper!!

This is part of the track, right on the cliff edge!

At the start gate, I don't know who's more nervous, him or me!!

I totally missed him in this shot!

Hmmm yes, I think that's my son under all that slop!

Despite the shocking weather, it was nice to be away and fingers crossed that next time the weather will be better!

Back very soon with some more creations
