Happy Birthday Cupcake!

More from "Patterned Occasions" today, tomorrow I will be sharing the new Spring/Summer Catalogue with you and have lots of lovely samples to show.

I used the cupcake image from the "Patterend Occasions" Sale-a-bration set and coloured it in with Wisteria Wonder, Calypso Coral and Early Espresso Marker Pens.

A really simple card to put together in no time.

The embossing folder is called "Fancy Fan" and gives a lovely finish.

The Wisteria Wonder frame around the cupcake is cut with the Scallop Rectangle Clearlits die using the Big Shot.

The stripy paper is from "Sycamore Street", the Sale-a-bration pack, yours free with any £45 order and the ribbon is also another free item.

The greeting was also inked with the Espresso Marker pen and I used a post-it note to omit the cupcake

The projects have designer papers from the "Sycamore Street" pack, another Sale-a-bration freebie, really loving the colours in this pack, from Island Indigo to Rich Razzleberry to Pool Party, all of which work lovely together.

Still loving the Ruffled Ribbon that is available in the older In Colours and of course, the Faceted Buttons which add a little bit of classy bling.

All contained in this little sliding sleeve which is easily accessed, no untying of bows or knots, just slide, read and eat, yum!

Smarty Pants!

For this card I have used the "Patterned Occasions" Sale-a-bration stamps, I chose the "smarty pants" image which would be great for teen cards.

My colour combo is Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Wisteria Wonder.

The papers are from "Sycamore Street", another Sale-a-bration FREE item.

There is another sneak peak from the Spring/Summer Catalogue amongst this, I am sure you can find it!

I used the Labels Framelits dies for the Pool Party Label and coloured the jeans/trousers image using my Wisteria Wonder marker pen as I wanted to separate it from the greeting which I inked after in Early Espresso.

The flower was punched using the Bitty Punch Pack, I use these all the time and come as a set of 3 small punches, 2 flowers and a circle that is so handy.

More use of my Bitty Banners Framelits dies, they are great and I use them for lots of different greetings, not just with the Itty Bitty Banners stamps that co-ordinate with them.

The Calypso Coral ribbon is from the Sale-a-bration leaflet, this free item includes 3 rolls of ribbon along with a pack of 36 co-ordinating buttons.

Patterend Occasions

Today I am sharing a card made using the "Patterned Occasions" set, one of the FREE Sale-a-bration stamps you can choose with a £45 order.

I love how versatile this set is and that the greetings can be used separately with other images.

My colour combo is Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder, very bright and fresh which I think we could all do with at the moment!  These are colours from the 2011/12 In Colours so you can buy a pack of mixed cardstock with all of these colours in.

There is a little sneak peak in here, can you see it?

The striped paper is from "Sycamore Street", the FREE Sale-a-bration pack and I used the Floral Frames Framelits dies to cut out the flower behind the circles.

I inked the Tea Cup with my Wisteria Wonder marker to exclude the image, then re-stamped the image only using my Espresso pen.  The greeting punched out lovely with the Word Window punch.

The heart is from the Owl Punch and I used some Crystal Effects to make it glisten!

Again the silky ribon is a Sale-a-bration offering, remember you get 3 different coloured rolls along with 36 buttons if you choose this as your free item.

I have to dash, I have my Sharp Life group this morning, back soon with some more projects to share

A box of thanks

It has finally stopped snowing here, as pretty as it is I hate the disruption it causes.

Onto today's project, a lovely gift box full of thanks

Here I have covered a Stampin' Up! Kraft Box with Sale-a-bration papers that you can earn for free if you place an order with me for £45.

The papers are called "Sycamore Street" and contain a variety of colours, mostly using the 2011/12 In Colours, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Calypso Coral plus some Rich Razzleberry designs too.

I have used the "Vine Street" embossing folder on the Whisper White layer, again FREE with any qualifying SAB order.

I have also used a Sale-a-bration stamp set called "Patterned Occasions" which is a great all round set, each image has a greeting that goes with it, this is where your Stampin' Write Marker pens will get a lot of use.

The Pool Party ribbon is another Sale-a-bration offering and if you choose this as your free item you will get 3 rolls, one each of Island Indigo, Calypso Coral and Pool Party, I love them, so sleek, 1/4" wide with a lovely satin centre.  Along with this, as if it wasn't enough you will get a pack of co-ordinating buttons in all three colours, the pack contains 36 buttons in total.

Call or email me for more information on Sale-a-bration and how easy it is to order the products shown above.

Sale-a-bration begins tomorrow - yippeeeee!

So tonight, sorry I'm so late blogging, I have been busy creating today and also had a birthday gift to deliver to my lovely friend Louise, I will share that later.

So double sneak peaks here, firstly the Sale-a-bration stamp set "Pretty Petites" which I have shown you before, this time the "for you" image stamped in Primrose Petals ink and punched with the Petite Curly Label punch.

Next I am sharing a sneaky peak from the upcoming Spring/Summer Catalogue which is due for release on 1st February and I just can't wait, I am truly in love with these new products and know that you will love them too!

The hearts and "tag/bunting" images are from a stamp set that has matching framelits dies which is fab.  I used the Primrose Petals ink on all three hearts but did the "stamping off" technique on the solid heart to give a paler tone.

I used the "hearts" embossing folder to tie in with the theme, this is from a set of three embossing folders, the other two co-ordinate with edgelit dies.

The Pool Party ribbon is free with any qualifying Sale-a-bration order.  The tiny Pool Party heart was punched using the good old faithful Owl Punch.

All in all, pretty clean and simple and quick to complete.

2 days to go.....

...... then Sale-a-bration will begin

Just a couple of Sale-a-bration sneak peaks here for you, believe me, there is so much more to share and all will be revealed in just a couple of days.

Again I have used the Sale-a-bration "Madison Avenue" stamps to co-ordinate with my card so that they can be given together as a package!  This time my sentiment is from another Sale-a-bration stamp set called "Pretty Petites", a set of 8 stamps that co-ordinate with the "Petite Curly Label Punch" which is also another Sale-a-bration freebie and I really love this set, the sentiments are varied and will work with so many different occasions.

Remember these can be yours for FREE with any £45 purchase and if youv'e a wish list as long as your arm then now's the time to get stocked up on your Stampin' Up! goodies as with EVERY £45 you spend you choose a free item, so spend £90 and get TWO items free.

This little cutie contains tea lights, a very simple gift to put together, simple scoring and can be decorated in so many different ways.  Why not book a party and I can demonstrate how it's done!

Lots of layers to add dimension to a lovely sized gift box

Kisses for you

It's that time of the month again when table gifts are required, and here's this month's treat

Not an orginal idea at all but everyone loved them and of course, sneak peaks were included too!

Again more of the spotty paper from "Sycamore Street", this time with a splash of Pool Party ribbon, which I absolutely adore, which is also available in two other colours.

Another Sale-a-bration item I am sharing today is the "Pretty Petites" stamp set, which includes 8 lovely stamps that work with a new punch, the Petite Curly Label which is also a Sale-a-bration item.  You may have the larger version of this punch, it works beautifully alongside this one.

Inside were silver "Kisses" which fit perfectly, such a sweet treat that could be used for many different occasions.

Here is a card using one of the FREE Sale-a-bration Stamp Sets called "Madison Avenue", love the leafy stamp with flower heads that can be mixed and matched!

The Designer Paper is called "Sycamore Street" and is also a sneak peak, I used the lovely Rich Razzleberry spot design here.  There are also co-ordinating buttons and ribbons available too but I will share those another time.

The butterfly is from the "Papillion Potpouri" stamp set, inked with Pool Party ink and adorning a Rhinestone, the greeting from "Friendly Phrases".  Isn't that butterfly cute, keep your eyes peeled for something coming that will bring him/her to life!!!

The flower on the right co-ordinates with the Floral Framelits dies which is great. I used the Bitty Punch pack for the centres of both flowers, the tiny Pool Party circle image is part of the Madison Avenue set.

Moving Forward

I really like how versatile this stamp set is, great for the younger ones but also good for the slightly more mature too!  Available in wood or clear mount for just £13.95 and can be found on Page 50 of the Annual Catalogue.

For my card I wanted to use the bicycle stamp as I think it's so lovely and wanted to create a card for a female.  I used a marker pen to omit the wording on the stamp but you could always use a Post It Note.  I stamped flowers in the basket but also hand cut some and raised them with dimensionals.  I used the new 2 1/2" Circle Punch to punch out the bike, a really great size for so many images, have you got yours yet?

Loving the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits die, so pretty and feminine.

The clouds were cut using the old faithful Cupcake Punch and embossed with the Fancy Fan folder finished with some daubing around the edge.

My fence was stamped with the Woodgrain background stamp, so effective, and the greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, a really good allrounder set with 24 stamps included to cover all different occasions, also available in wood or clear mount.

The embellishment in the centre of the bicycle wheel is from the Vintage Trinkets brad pack, which also contains little safety pins, the brads look like miniature buttons, very cute. You get 48 trinkets in the pack for only £5.50.

Pictures at last......

Aha, I have finally had a spare 10 minutes to figure out how to upload some pictures, it's a bit slower to upload but better than no pictures at all!  If anyone else is having similar problems I would be interested to know!!

***Just to add a thank you to Jenny Moors for offering advise on how to resolve the picture upload problem***

So here is a layout we created at the last Scrapbooking class for 2012.
My son turned 18 in October and my daughter turned 16 two weeks before him so I took lots of photographs that month!

Here they are together on Jack's birthday before he blew the candles out on his cake, well your'e never to old for that are you!

My colour combo is Baja Breeze, Basic Grey with a hint of Summer Starfruit.
I love the new Buttons Sizzlit Die, really cute.

Loving the Dhalia's, availale in packs containing all of the new In Colours

I typed the journalling on my computer then printed it off on Whisper White card to make it look neater.  The Chevron Embossing folder is great for a masculine touch.  The 18 was die cut using the Typeset Alphabet

For You, With Love Promotion

Happy New Year to you all!

I'm back after a nice relaxing Christmas at home, the first in quite a few years which was followed by a ski-ing trip to the French Alps which was not so relaxing but hey, so much fun!  We drove ourselves to the resort which actually wasn't that bad, around 13 hours in total with a hotel stop off each way which helped to break the journey up.  I have photo's to share but they will have to wait for now as blogger is really misbehaving and I can't seem to upload any pictures!!

I have to share with you the new Stampin' Up! promotion
"FOR YOU, WITH LOVE"

but it's pretty hard trying to share this without being able to upload a picture.

If you click on the "For You With Love" Button on the top right of my blog it will take you to the flyer where you can find out more.

If you purchase the "My Little Valentine" stamp set during January, receive the "Sealed with Love" Simply Sent kit for free, valued at £8.25
The "My Little Valentine" set is just £9.95 in clear and very cute too!

Hopefully I can resolve the Blogger problem soon!
