Things are getting a little spooky around here!

Now I know Halloween isn't everyone's cup of tea but most of us get a few "trick or treater's" I am sure.

So this year, mine will be getting one of these cute "Mini Muslin Bags".  When you purchase them they are "naked" and can be found in the new A/W Catalogue.  At just over a pound each they are excellent value and made from 100% cotton.  Here I used Stazon ink for the spotted background.

The other stamped images are from a set called "Halloween Bash", love the bat image which punches out with the oval and scallop oval punches.

On this card I used some of the new "Candy Dots" that are in the Annual Catalogue and these are the Pumpkin Pie ones from the Brights pack.

The patterned paper is from a new set called "Witches Brew", love how some of the patterns aren't just for halloween, would be perfect for spider loving boys!!

You can see I have used the Brad Bases with the Candy Dots, but they can also be used on their own.

Halloween Bash - £14.95 Clear Stamps

Witches Brew DSP - £9.95

Tags for you - £13.95 or buy the Label Bracket punch at the same time for just £23.95 for both

Here's a closer shot of the muslin bag, filled with little treats

and a little note card to go with it

Six Sided Sampler

I love how versatile the "Six Sided Sampler" set can be, great for so many occasions and brilliant for "man" cards.

So today, no "man" card in sight I'm afraid although I do have plans for an upcoming class!

My colour combo is:

Blushing Bride
Smoky Slate {{love}}
Whisper White

I stamped the 3/4" circle out of the hexagon before punching out the actual hexagon, it is so much easier this way!

The greeting is from the same set, stamped onto a strip of whisper white then using the Hexagon punch to nick out the ends.

I love the new Chevron ribbon and teamed it with the matching Embossing Folder then added some butterflies using the Bitty and Elegant Butterfly punches.

and here's an image of the stamps that come in the set, to purchase yours just email me at stampinkerry@aol.com

Flower Shop

Finally back with some projects to share, hope you enjoyed seeing the pictures of the Incentive Trip to Utah, we extended our trip and visited Las Vegas, Palm Springs and Los Angeles but I am sure you will see some pictures on upcoming Scrapbook Layouts!

Here is a recent card we made at class, using the lovely stamp set "Flower Shop" which has a co-ordinating punch "Pansy Punch".

This set is so pretty and it's great that you can punch the flowers out so quickly with the Pansy Punch, saves so much time when making a card.  If you purchase the stamps and punch together you can save an amazing 15%.

My colours are from the new "In Colours"

Baked Brown Sugar
Crisp Cantaloupe
Coastal Cabana

such a lovely combination teamed here with Very Vanilla

I also used a stamp set called "Chalk Talk" for the frame and tag, this set is available as a bundle with the matching Framelits dies.

The embossing folder is called "Beautiful Baroque" and it truly is beautiful.

The button is from a pack of the In Colour "Boutique Details" and love the new Ruffle Stretch Ribbon also available in all of the new In Colours.

I am looking forward to share the new Autumn/Winter catalogue with you in a couple of days.

The final day

So all good things have to come to an end hey!

On the final day, I played Plinko and won a prize which I can't share with you yet, I packed up my box of goodies to ship home, Stampin' Up! allowed us all to send home a box as we had so many goodies given to us.

I relaxed here for an hour after a brief shopping trip for another handbag, Jay was off with the boys at a shooting range

And before I knew it the final night drew near.  We had no idea where we were going, we were just warned to wear comfortable footwear!

We arrived at the Red Cliff Ranch in Heber Valley where we were greeted with drinks and nibbles.  We had the most amazing night, so much fun and a great relaxing time socialising with everyone.

Inside the entrance hall of the venue

We had a delicious bbq dinner and sat in this beautifully converted cattle shed, I stole this picture from Monica!!

The flowers on our table were beautiful

The views were lovely

And here she is, clicking away, my personal hair plaiter, the lovely Monica.

After dinner there were Smores, a spot of line dancing along with lots of fun, laughter and chatting

Toasting the marshmallows!

What a gorgeous couple, love this picture of you both

and Tracy too

Some of us UK girlies before heading back on the coach

I had the most amazing trip of a lifetime, thank you Stampin' Up! for giving me the opportunity to spend time with other demonstrators and experience something very special and thank you to all of my loyal customers and team members who have helped me to achieve this success.

Visit to Kanab

On Wednesday, Stampin' Up! chartered a flight and flew us to Kanab to their Manufacturing Facility, how amazing is that, and we also made history that day as our plane was the largest one ever to land at Kanab Airport!

On our arrival the staff came outside to greet us, it was a lovely welcome.

We sat and ate before going on our tour of the facility and our napkins were decorated along with a lovely wooden tag hanging from the water, loved all the finishing touches.

Our tour began, it was amazing from start to finish, so many things to take in and to see how the stamps are made and packaged, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this day.  Here I am with a lady who is putting image sleeves into the clear cases then popping in the stamps!

This "food mixer" machine is used to put the ink into the firm foam pads for inserting into the cases

It is then put by hand (well tweezers) into the case

then wrapped ready for shrink wrapping

This man cuts the cardstock using this huge guillotine, it cuts all those sheets in one go with ease!

and here the cardstock is counted and sorted

then shrink wrapped and labels put on

Here I am with Tracey, having so much fun watching and learning how our product is prepared and packed ready for distribution

Look at the huge rolls of rubber!

I was lucky enough to put foam on the back of the rubber, then trim it,

ready for die cutting which was amazingly quick!

This guy makes the Mag Plates that are used to make the moulds for the stamps, they are like a metal template and there is only one mag plate for each set of stamps

We were also invited to look around the apartments, these beautiful rooms are where Shelli and staff members stay when they visit Kanab as it's a fair distance to travel and return in one day.  This is where Shelli stays, lovely vintage furniture and pretty bedding.

This room was open plan with the Kitchen just to the right of this picture, a lovely huge fireplace surrounded by patterned sofas and pretty cushions

Everything was so pretty, lots of attention to detail

Back at the facility, this machine chops up the waste pieces of rubber

and then the most amazing thing happens to it, Shelli funded a playground area in Kanab, set in a beautiful place with lovely views and the rubber sits beneath the play equipment to make soft landings for the children.  That is just such a beautiful thing to do.
