Something Lacy?

I can't tell you how much I love the new background stamp from the Spring/Summer Catalogue called

"Something Lacy"

Here I used it on my banner, inked it up with Baked Brown Sugar and stamped directly onto Very Vanilla cardstock then daubed around the edge.  It is just so pretty and I think it looks like a piece of patterned paper, don't you?

The heart border at the top is Washi Tape from the new trio pack called "Stacked with Love", cute isn't it!

I punched out a circle of Very Vanilla Cardstock and embossed with another new product, the "Spring Flowers" embossing folder which is very pretty.

My greeting is from a Sale-a-bration stamp set called "Simply Wonderful".  The sweet little flower is from the same set.

Up until the end of March you can earn a selection of exclusive products for FREE with every £45 order placed.  Click on the catalogue cover at the top right side of my blog to view this brochure online, along with the Spring/Summer catalogue.

I used the Butterflies Thinlits Dies to cut out the intricate butterfly and the little bow is from the "Mini Treat Bag" Thinlits set.

Memory Keeping with Project Life

Each month I run several classes and create lots of different projects from cards to gifts and also scrapbook layouts too.  Time is always against me and I rarely get to share everything I have made with you.

Something I very rarely share with you is a Scrapbook/Project Life layout so today I am doing just that!

I still love traditional 12x12" scrapbooking but I really do love how quick and easy Project Life is.

My layout below has pictures from a family Christening last year and I used the Love Story Project Life Card Collection to complete it.

The Card Collections are amazing value at £13.50 and include a variety of different sized cards which are all double sided ready to slide into the pocket pages

You can also purchase Accessory Packs to embellish your layouts and these are just £8.95

If you would like to find out more about Memory Making and how Project Life can help you to do this please do get in touch or book onto one of my upcoming classes

Birthday Butterflies

I have another "Butterfly Basics" card to share with you today, I think this has to be my favourite stamp set so far from the Spring/Summer catalogue although I have lots of new stamps to play with yet so this could change lol!

I love that the Butterflies Framelits Dies are on a bundle with this stamp set saving you 15% when purchased together

My colour combination is

Baked Brown Sugar
Blushing Bride
teamed with Whisper White

I love the "Happy Birthday" greeting, it's a great size and I love the font styles

From this view it is hard to see but I layered the butterfly with plain butterflies cut out of Baked Brown Sugar cardstock underneath the stamped image, this gave a nice 3D effect.

The DSP is again the Sale-a-bration freebie (your's FREE with any £45 order)
called "Best Year Ever".  It contains luscious papers as shown below

I used one of the gorgeous embellishments on the butterfly image, these are  from the S/S Catalogue and are called "Something Borrowed" and there are some lovely other products in this range, perfect for wedding themed projects but not just for that purpose either.

Happy New Year!

So it's been a little quiet around here over Christmas, I have taken a break from blogging after being away Ski-ing for Christmas and spending some time with the family.

In 2015 I plan to reduce my working hours and spend a little more time doing more of the things that are important to me and to make more time for those who are important around me.

I couldn't let Christmas slip by so quickly without sharing this project with you.  It's a sampler frame we made at one of my classes in December and I love how it turned out.  The idea came from the displays at Convention in Brussels and when I came across the frame I knew exactly what I was going to do with it!

I used the "All is Calm" designer series paper then a few different stamp sets

Festival of Trees with matching Punch
Wonderful Wreath with matching Framelits Dies
Holiday Home with matching Framelits Dies

I die cut the word "WINTER" using Silver Foil cardstock

This wasn't a difficult project to put together and I can see many other uses for this frame so watch this space!

NEW Spring/Summer Catalogue
Releases Tuesday 6th January

Not long to wait now and with every £45 you spend you can choose an amazing Sale-a-bration item for FREE

All will be revealed soon!
