Cozy Christmas!

I think that the "Hearth and Home" Framelits set is going to have just so many uses (this is the Window Frame Die set) no matter what the season!

Here I have teamed it with a new set from the Autumn/Winter catalogue called

"Cozy Christmas"

I love this little house scene but my favourite image in this set has to be the Sleigh with Reindeer, isn't it just so cute.

I punched out a circle from the sticky part of a Post it Note, placed it on a rectangle of Whisper White Cardstock, used a Stampin' Sponge with some Lost Lagoon ink and worked in a circular motion over the top of the circle, then when I was happy with my shade of "sky" I removed the sticky circle to reveal a moon!

My Poinsettia was created using the Petite Petal punch, layering 3 Cherry Cobbler flowers on top of each other adding a Rhinestone in the centre, finishing with some leaves punched using the Bird Builder punch.  Love our punches, they make this so quick and easy!

I will be running a class very soon using the Window die and I hope that you will be able to make it along or if you'd like to play at home why not order the dies and I will send you the pre-cut card kits!  Check back soon for more details.

Flurry of Wishes

I love using Lost Lagoon (colour of cardstock) for Christmas cards, it has a kind of "frosty" feel to it.

The white craft ink works beautifully with darker card colours and this is no exception.

I used a snowflake image from

Flurry of Wishes

and inked it with Craft White Ink then die cut out a label using the Labels Framelits Dies, I have to say this is my most used framelits set at the moment!

The "Flurry of Wishes" stamp set has a co-ordinating Punch that cuts out snowflakes shapes and it works with some snowflake images in the set.

And if it can't get any better, if you purchase these two products as a BUNDLE then you can save yourself 15%!

The greeting is from the same set too!

Are you loving the new little wooden Snowflake accents, try heat embossing them, colouring them or adding glitter, they are so pretty!

Another favourite item I am loving is the Cord Trim, available in Gold and Silver, it just ties beautiful little bows with so much ease!

The new "Softly Falling" embossing folder gives a beautiful impression of snow on my Kraft cardstock layer, I have not stopped using this folder, adore it!!

And with it being Wednesday, I have more NEW deals for you today, remember if you place an order online with me and it's over £25, you need to use the

and I will send you a little gift at the beginning of October to say thank you for shopping with me.

Stampin' Chat has launched!

A couple of months ago I was honoured to be asked to partner with Stampin' Up! in a series of videos called

Stampin' Chat

I had so much fun being a part of this team to create the "Chat Show" style mini videos which share our experinces as a Demonstrator.

If you're looking to earn an extra income or just want to get a fabulous discount on your Stampin' Up! products, the videos will give you a little insight as to how different we all are as Demonstrators and just how much fun we have doing something we love!

These videos will be posted on YouTube twice a month, through to December and you can catch the second video on Wednesday, I can't wait to see it!

We really did have lots of fun creating these videos, and next time you should see us getting creative too, well, we can't get together without stamping can we!!

If you'd like to find out more about joining my lovely team of stampers, just get in touch, I will there to help with any advice I can, it will be totally informal and of course there is never any obligation to join.

Being a Demonstrator has given me so many fantastic opportunities and I have made the best friends and watched friendships grow and glad to be part of an amazing community of crafty people.

Jingle All The Way!

I have to say I'm not liking these darker evenings, but I do like the thought of lighting the fire, snuggling up under rugs and lighting candles of an evening!

So with Christmas creeping nearer towards us, another creation to share with you today, using the new Stamp Set "Jingle All The Way", and in true Stampin' Up! style, it has a co-ordinating set of Edgelits dies that I just so love and I know you will too!

You can't really tell from this photo but the snow village scene at the bottom is cut using the Glimmer Paper, looks really stunning in real life!

I used the Star Border punch for the silver stars and the snow stamp is included in the Jingle All the Way set, perfect!

I have a class running on

SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER
at
Whitminster Village Hall
9.30am - 1.00pm

If you'd like to come and join me you can create a beautiful set of "special" cards for your loved ones at Christmas, just get in touch for more details.

If you can't make it to the class, why not purchase the Stamp and Die bundle, get yourself a fab 15% off and create some cards of your own.

Happy Scene's bring Happy Days

I am gradually working my way through my lovely new Stampin' Up! products from the just released Autumn/Winter Catalogue and I was so ex.cited to mount these stamps and get die cutting with the co-ordinating Window Frame Die

The new stamp set is called

"Happy Scenes"

and I love that we have a new Window Frame die that works with it.

I can see ENDLESS creations using this combination of products and the window frame teamed with other stamps I already have too!

So here's today's card.......

My aim for this card was to make it masculine as we really don't create enough man cards!

I used the Spritzer with some rubbing alcohol and Early Espresso Ink inside to create a spritzed background which I then ran through my Bigshot with the Woodgrain embossing folder, love this effect.

I stamped my "scene", then used a sponge to add some colour for the grass and sky.  I cut out my window frame with Crumb Cake cardstock and used dimensionals and placed over my scene that I had stamped.

I added a Linen Thread bow and some vellum leaves then attached to my card base, adding a greeting and a strip of the gorgeous Corrugate Card which I just can't get enough of at the moment!

This really is straight forward, the scene and window are so easy to create and although it may look complex, it really isn't.
