I have hundreds of photographs of my son racing and many
completed layouts of him too but you can never have enough layouts of your children, don't you agree! This photograph was taken last year at a two day event in Bromyard, Worcestershire and my son finished first overall.
The papers are from "Spiced Cider" and I also used some of the Patterns DSP in Chocolate Chip. We sanded the edges of the DSP to break each layer up as this shows the white base underneath. Our title and date frames are stamped using "Framed with Love" which is such a gorgeous set and then hand cut and layered using Dimensionals. We hand cut a tag shape and added a Jumbo Eyelet at the top using the Cropadile. We also stamped a star image from the "Nursery Necessities" stamp set and added a Metal Edge Tag with a punched heart from the "Heart to Heart" punch. I added the letter "J" to mine as Jack's initial and punched a 1 3/4" circle from Old Olive cardstock and adhered onto the Metal Edge Tag.
All in all a pretty simple layout, as we make 3 layouts during our class they can't be too involved, but that's not to say that you can't add on your own extras when you get home!
Such a gorgeous lo, Kerry, you must be so proud
