I have so many layouts that I haven't shared with you so thought I would pop one on to make a change. I love the concept of scrapbooking, an collection of "creations" that can be handed down through generations, each one telling a story.
This one isn't quite finished, I have some journaling to put on, something that usually takes time and that I don't have much of lately so it will come at some point soon!
The picture of my sweetheart was taken in Honfleur, France when we went on a road trip in the motorhome. We went with friends and had an amazing time touring around, stopping off at beautiful places whenever we felt the need and the weather was being kind to us too! This place was my favourite, a lovely harbour bursting with shops, boutiques and restaurants.
I used the Fancy Flower punch to create my 3D flower, spritzing each one with water and crunching them into a ball to break down the fibres, then opening them up and letting them sit and dry, then layering with an Antique Brad to finish. The stamped image behind is from the "Daydream Medallion" stamp set which has a lovely set of co-ordinating Framelits dies to cut them out.
Simple designer paper flags
The "Typeset" Alphabet dies create titles in a flash and an embossed background adds some texture
This designer paper for the Hearts is from the "Neutrals" stack, these are great value and last forever, you will find so many uses for it. I cut the hearts out using the Hearts Framelits Dies.
