Pop n Cuts Gift Card Pouch

This was the final project for last month's Big Shot class, a treat or gift card/money pouch designed using the Pop n Cuts Base card die.

I was inspired by some projects the lovely Monica Gale had created at the US Convention and decided to use the same colours as I loved them together.

The Pop n Cuts card base die was used for the main body of the pouch, I folded a piece of Soft Suede cardstock and ran it through the big shot with the Pop n Cuts die to get a decorative finish at each end.

I loved how it turned out, very vintage but of course this isn't everyone's style, I like both vintage and crisp and clean.  We cut circles and layered them onto a Deco Label that was stamped with the Morning Post Numbers set giving a nice stamped outline to the die cut.  It was finished with a Vintage button tied with Linen Thread.

The Pistachio Pudding Ruffle Trim made a nice elastic closure, easy to remove which we tied then added a cute safety pin from the Vintage Trinkets accessories, the tag cut using the Duo Ticket Punch, stamped from the Lovely Little Labels set

Subtle stamping on the base just added a bit of interest without being to overwhelming then some lovely Rhinestones to glitz it a little

A view of the side to reveal a glassine bag inside that could hold small treats, money or a gift card.
