All things "Bright and Beautiful"

I'm not quite sure where the last week has gone to, in fact, I'm not sure what happened to September altogether!!

Today's card features a couple of new stamp sets from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue, the alphabet set "Back to Basics" is from the current Annual Catalogue.

The gorgeous star image is from a set called
"Bright and Beautiful" and I just can't put it down, I have had so much use out of it already and we are still a couple of month's away from Christmas!

The word "Christmas" is from an amazing Photopolymer set called "Endless Wishes", I love the font and how you can make many different combinations of greetings.  The set also has some Snowflake images which are gorgeous.

The word "happy" is from a fab set called "Back to Basics" and I used the Banner Punch to cut them out

My colour combo here is Soft Suede for the base then Lost Lagoon for the front layer, all teamed with Whisper White.

I heat embossed the star to give a nice shimmery finish.

Make sure you stop by tomorrow to find out some fab news on the latest promotion that is about to begin!

Wondrous Wreath, it's not just for Christmas!

I love how the "Wondrous Wreath" stamps can be used for different seasons of the year, again, it's not just for Christmas!

Here I've created a Thank You card and used colours to deter from a Christmas theme.

So there are some "rules" for using this set which has Framelits Dies to match.

This is another "2 Step Stampin" set and the stamps and dies have little tabs on so that you can line up the images with ease and know how to line the dies up with the stamp, if you so wish!

On my card I didn't make any effort to line them up as I wanted you to see that it still works even if you are a little "shaky" with your stamping and are unable to get a perfect match with the first image you stamped underneath.

I used Pistachio Pudding and Always Artichoke ink for the wreath and added Crisp Cantaloupe Flowers which also have a matching die.

My ribbon knot was tied using the lovely new Gold Satin Ribbon, I'm so glad we have Satin Ribbon back in our Catalogue, it ties lovely bows and perfect knots.

Groovy Love for a Birthday Card

I really do love the new In Colour "Blackberry Bliss" which I have teamed here with Smoky Slate and Whisper White.

The gorgeous hearts are from a set called "Groovy Love"

We also have a punch that matches this set called the "Sweetheart" Punch and at just £14.25 it's a great addition to your collection of punches, useful for may different occasions.

The "Happy Birthday" greeting is from the set called "Something to Say" and here I used the Banner Punch to notch out the flag ends.

I've also used the new "Confetti Stars" Punch, love the "confetti" it leaves behind!

To finish I used some co-ordinating Blackberry Bliss ribbon at the top of my card.  I just love how everything works together, it's great to have so many co-ordinating products.

Flower Patch Photopolymer Stamps

This set "Flower Patch" has proved to be a very popular choice with you all, and I can see why.

It's a great set of Flowers and Leaves in Photopolymer so they are clear and you can see right through them.  They are the same great quality as our Red Rubber stamps but at a much lower price.

I love that the set also contains greetings too!

And at just £22.95 for the stamps on their own they are a fantastic price.

As usual, Stampin' Up! have helped us out by giving us a set of matching Framelits dies called "Flower Fair", so cutting these images out just got a whole lot easier!

And if it couldn't get better, you can get 15% off when purchasing the stamps and framelits dies as a bundle, just £37.25 for both!
Such a usable set that will cover all occasions, and you can never have too many flower sets!

Endless Wishes

Another Christmas creation for you today, this time using a stamp set called

"Endless Wishes"

I love how "easy" this stamp set is to use.  It's a Photopolymer stamp and the quality is great.

You can see from this shot how delicate and fine the images are.

The set comprises of several different words and phrases that can be put together in many different combinations, I love this!

Here I stamped my greeting then punched it out with the Aritsan Label punch.  For the layer behind I punched out a Pool Party label then simply cut down the centre and placed at the top and bottom of my greeting label.

I used Silver Glimmer paper and punched out a Star with the little Star Punch from the Itty Bitty Accents set.

All in all, a really quick and simple card!  Hope you like it!

Festival of Trees

Are you loving the new Autumn/Winter Catalogue?

I certainly am and I'm enjoying being creative with some lovely seasonal products.

Today I have a card that I designed and was inspired by the actual Catalogue itself.  Inside I found an image of a tag that had been designed similar to the circle on my card so I just adapted it to work for my project.

I love the new "Festival of Trees" stamp set, it's a new Photopolymer set and it has a matching Christmas Tree Punch which is great.

Do you like the new Embossed Frame, it's called the "Filigree Frame".

To create this look I firstly cut a circle from the new Kraft cardstock, which I have to tell you is lovely in real life, a great colour and a brilliant weight too.  I used the Circles Framelits for the circle, then I took a post it note, punched out a Christmas Tree near the sticky edge, placed the cut out post it note tree in the centre of my circle of Kraft cardstock, then finally took my Tree punch and lined it up with the post it note so that I wasn't going in "blind" and that my tree would be punched centrally in the circle.  I am sure you do this all the time, post it notes are so handy for this technique.

The Festival of Trees set comprises of 5 different trees and you can also do a little "2 Step Stampin'" with it too!

The Snowflakes are from the new Frosted Sequins pack, it also contains lovely Silver Sequins too and there's so many in the pack they will spread across many of your projects.

My favourite "red" for my Christmas creations is "Cherry Cobbler", what's yours?

I have to dash now, off to a class.

Maybe you'd like to see some of the new Christmas products, why not book a party in your home and get to see them in action!
