Sneak Peak Lighthearted Leaves

Today I am sharing a card that I made recently, it uses a Sneak Peak stamp set from the upcoming

AUTUMN/WINTER CATALGOUE

it's called

"Lighthearted Leaves"

and I was thankful to receive it as a Pillow Gift from the recent Incentive Trip to Madeira

I love that this stamp set co-ordinates with the Leaflets Framelits Dies which I don't have yet, they are on order, just waiting for their arrival.

It goes to show that you can easily hand cut around these leafy images if you don't own a Big Shot or die cutting machine.  I enjoy handcutting, but I know there are lots of you out there who don't enjoy it so much!

The flowery/leafy bunch in front of the stamped leaves is actually hand cut from some new Designer Series Paper called "Into the Woods", gorgeous autumnal prints that are lovely, leafy and acorny!!!  Cute!!

The first layer on the card was embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and I then Spritzed with a weak mixture of Early Espresso Ink and Rubbing Alcohol.  The picture doesn't show it that clearly, the light wasn't the best when I took the photo, the sun was out so I had to find some shade and taking it via my Ipad wasn't really the best option, I should have picked up my real camera lol!!

I can't wait to hold a class with this set, it's going to be such a versatile "go to" set for me, will suit all occasions and I'm feeling a little adult colouring happening soon on the leaves too!
