Bringing you some Good Cheer!

The launch of the Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter catalogue last month has really sparked my festive creativity.  Now I know it's not for all of you, you don't like to start until at least mid November but in my eyes, the earlier the better, things get so hectic as we near Christmas that to have your cards ready and prepared for sending by the beginning of December is a good plan which leaves the rest of the month to finishing off your shopping and wrapping!

So today I'm sharing a really simple card, created using a stamp set called "Stitched with Cheer".  I love, love, love the snowflakes in this set, there are three in total and love how you could just create a whole background with these stamps alone.

I have teamed Whisper White with Mint Macaron and a smidge of gold.  Now I wasn't really a gold person, personally found Silver more to my taste but Gold has grown on me of late.

I recently had a good tidy up of my workspace and invested in a few gold accessories to make my desk look pretty rather than messy lol!  Maybe I will share a picture??

I created a simple tag using a rectangle of whisper white cardstock then snipped off the corners to create a tag shape.  I added some of the gorgeous Gold twine to make a bow then used my handy Cookie Cutter Punch to cut some teeny little hearts from Gold Glimmer paper.  I have to say the new Precision Glue is perfect for sticking down tiny punch outs or embellishments.

This stamp set "Stitched with Cheer" has been designed to co-ordinate with the co-ordinating Project Kit, see below

and I also love that the little holly and berries can be punched out using the Holly Berry Builder Punch.  I just love how Stampin' Up! make it easy for us to craft and produce professional looking projects.

Don't forget today is the last opportunity to get up to 25% off selected products on the World Card Making Day offer, full details in my previous post

Totally Trees

Since the release of the new Autumn/Winter Catalogue I have been playing with lots of festive products but today I wanted to share a creation I made using another new stamp set called

Totally Trees

Totally Trees Kerry Timms stampin up handmade card cardmaking class gloucester birthday hobby crafts creative papercraft scrapbooking leaves

This is a 2-Step stamp set which means you use more than one stamp to layer up to create your image.  You can see for the tree I used a branch stamp in Rich Razzleberry ink then a second stamp for the Mint Macaron layer.

The set includes the grass stamps too.

Here's the complete set, great value at just £23.00

I had to include some more of my favourite products, the lovely "Flourish Thinlits Dies" and the Burlap trim.

The words are from the "Jar of Love" set.

Sneak Peak of the Thoughtful Branches set

I am excited to share with you today my first sneak peak of an upcoming Exclusive Limited Time Only stamp set called

"Thoughtful Branches"

The stamp set and co-ordinating thinlits set will be available between
2nd and 31st August ONLY and will be available while stocks last so make sure you place your order early to avoid disappointment.

I absolutely adore this set, I think it is just so versatile and great value for money, I know you will love it too!

I created a small square card from Whisper White cardstock and used a Glassine Bag to act as my envelope, adding some burlap trim and a flower and leaf to embellish.  Please note the die cut flower is not part of this set, it belongs to the Flourish Thinlits set #141478

I love how the dies contain separate pieces for the tree, one for the branches and one for the leaves.

The stamps #143539 are £24.00 and come in Photopolymer for easy alignment

The Thinlits dies "Beautiful Branches" #143538 are £28.00

but buy them both together as a Bundle for

#144328 £46.75

Second Layout from June's Scrapbook Class

Gosh, July has arrived, lets hope there's some better weather on the way!

I have been a Scrapbooker for many years, I love how I can be creative and preserve my memories at the same time.

I hold a class on the third Thursday of every month and we create 3 layouts at each class.

Here is the second layout from June's class, as explained in my previous post I use the same products for all three layouts.

I love to hand cut, I know it's not everyone's thing but I quite like it and Stampin' Up! don't provide us with a punch for every stamp we have!  I like to leave a white space between the stamped image and my cut line and find this makes it easier to cut.

I love how well Denim Dapper teams with Flirty Flamingo, two of my fave new In Colours.

Such an amazing stamp set "Love and Affection", love it!  Great value, great images and very versatile.

For the two flowers at the top left of the layout I stamped onto coloured cardstock using the same colour ink, love this look.
