All Day Class

Last Saturday I held my all day class at Whitminster.  I really look forward to these events and especially love to create little table gifts for everyone to take away with them.

This class was no exception, I loved how everything turned out and a great day's crafting was had by all.

To start, here's their treats for their place setting:

Aren't they just sooooo cute, I love them

The bottles are filled with gorgeous little pink and white marshmallows to co-ordinate with the decor.  I stamped on the spoon with an image from the  "You are Loved" stamps, which is retiring by the way, then punched out a hole and tied them with Linen thread to attach to the bottle.  I made little bows using the Taffeta Ribbon and attached to the spoon.

I used various circle and scallop circle punches and the stamp set "A Fitting Occasion" for the "made by me for you" label on the front, the butterfly is from the same set too.

I had to fill them the day before then popped on the lid to keep the marshmallows fresh then just added the gorgeous stripy straws on the morning of the class.  Do you like?

I have to say a HUGE THANK YOU to my friend Jo who made these stunning cakes to co-ordinate with my gifts.  They were absolutely perfect, with gorgeous spotty cases and tasted divine as usual.

You can find Jo here to see her marvelous creations and if you should require anything she would be more than happy to help you out

So onto the table setting

And a close up of the cupcake!

So here are the projects from the first session:

A decorated gift bag, it's so simple to alter a simple brown bag and turn it into something special

During this session we also made some mini notecards and box.  The base uses the "Natural Composition" designer paper and if you haven't seen this in real life it is amazing quality, very heavy cardstock with clear embossed patterns on in a lovely soft suede colour, gorgeous!  Everyone received 1/2 a pack of the Natural Composition and a 1/4 pack of the Patio Party DSP

The two-tone Pink Pirouette ribbon ties beautiful bows.  This heart paper is one of my favourites, sadly Baja Breeze is retiring but we have some lovely new colours coming our way.

The two mini cards we made to go inside, very simple but sweet.  We used the Boho Blossom punch to create the layered flowers.

The "Just for You" image is a single stamp that is included with the "Pop Up Posies" kit which you can find in the Spring/Summer Catalogue.

I saw the idea of heat embossing the Antique Brads in Pinterest, here I used White embossing powder but you could use any colour we have.  I still like my antique brads naked but this is just another option.

Well I think that's enough pictures for now, come back soon for more projects from the day.
