Window Frames Special Fold Card Tutorial

Finally I have some pictures to share with you of how I created this card here after receiving so many comments and questions about how it was achieved.

Take a piece of cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 11"
Score landscape (along the longer edge) @
2 1/2", 4", 7" and 8 1/2"

Fold on your score lines so that it looks like this

Using the largest die from the "Window Frames" framelits collection set, lay it over the top of your folded piece of cardstock

Stick it in place using low tack tape then run through your Big Shot machine and voila, it's as easy as that.  You may have to trim a little around the parts that cut through 3 layers, depends on your Big Shot as they all cut differently with use.

You can then add smaller layers of framelits on the front panel and embellish!  If you have the Simply Scored tool you can make this in a flash and then with the Diagonal Plate whip up a custom sized envelope to fit!

Enjoy creating yours and if you need any of the supplies used to make the card just get in touch!

  2. This is a really cool idea, and I love it. I have one question though: I see that you layered the flaps and then layered the top of the card but where do you put a saying for the inside of the card?
