Happy New Year!

So it's been a little quiet around here over Christmas, I have taken a break from blogging after being away Ski-ing for Christmas and spending some time with the family.

In 2015 I plan to reduce my working hours and spend a little more time doing more of the things that are important to me and to make more time for those who are important around me.

I couldn't let Christmas slip by so quickly without sharing this project with you.  It's a sampler frame we made at one of my classes in December and I love how it turned out.  The idea came from the displays at Convention in Brussels and when I came across the frame I knew exactly what I was going to do with it!

I used the "All is Calm" designer series paper then a few different stamp sets

Festival of Trees with matching Punch
Wonderful Wreath with matching Framelits Dies
Holiday Home with matching Framelits Dies

I die cut the word "WINTER" using Silver Foil cardstock

This wasn't a difficult project to put together and I can see many other uses for this frame so watch this space!

It's a Wonder, December Wonder!!

I really like the set "December Wonder" in the Autumn/Winter supplement, although it's perfect for using on your Project Life layouts it's just as great on your cards, tags and home décor projects.

My colour combo is

Real Red
Soft Sky
Lost Lagoon
Garden Green

I love lots of images from this set, the lovely Label Frame, the Snowflake and the word "Winter Wonderland" greeting!  Here I used the Christmas Cheer word to fit inside the decorative frame.

I have also used the Confetti Stars punch which is so useful, don't think of it as just for Christmas, will be so useful on your boy and man cards.

Here you can see a closer view of one of the Snowflakes, they are so pretty.

Christmas Gift Money/Treat Packaging

You should know by now how I love to package things, especially inexpensive little treats.

This is no exception, hidden in here is a Kit Kat Bar, but you could easily slip in some money or a voucher/gift card.

I am loving this patterned paper pack "Nordic Noel", consisting of some gorgeous colours including Real Red and Soft Sky with a little Garden Green.

I used a stamp set called "December Wonder" which I love, you can find it in the Autumn/Winter Supplement, but remember these items are only available while supplies last.  I adore the snowflake image.

Inside I stamped onto a Glassine Bag and adhered it to the pouch with Sticky Strip and added my treat!  Some lovely co-ordinating ribbon held it all together.
