Vienna Layout

It is not unusual for me to take many pictures with my camera whilst away, and Vienna was no exception.

This was a layout we did at my recent Scrapbooking Class, one of three that was completed during the evening.

The papers are from "Beau Chateaux" which I love, they have a very french vintage feel with lovely soft colours.  I haven't got around to doing my journalling on this one yet and not even a date in sight, but it will get done at some point.

We used "Everything Eleanor" stamps for the background adding pearls to accent it and the flowers which were hand cut.

There was lots of punching using the Boho Blossom and Blossom builder punches for the small flowers and leaves.  We also used the big shot to die cut the Framelits Labels and Scallop Circle Die.

The heart is die cut using the Scallop Hearts of Hearts Embosslit, this little beauty cuts and embosses at the same time.

With Thanks, birdy style!

I recently made this card for Jenna, Jay's niece who made me some beautiful Roman Blinds for my Craft room, hence I need to say they are still hanging over the banister waiting for Jason to pick up his drill and as much as I complain about the sun being in my eyes, there they still hang!

I used the Aviary set which I adore, and used the masking technique that I had showed at a recent workshop which inspired my card.

My colour combo is Sahara Sand, Regal Rose and Pool Party with a little Pear Pizzazz thrown in.

Still loving those Antique brads, aren't you?  They make a beautiful centre for the 5 Petal Flower which is punched out with the Patterns Paper Stack in Regal Rose spots.

I spritzed the background and added some flowers punched using the Bitty Punch pack then adhered pearls to the centres.  I used some of the gorgeous Crochet Trim to add more texture along with the Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon.  The greeting is from one of the Sale-a-bration sets that has now sadly retired but I love it so much I will use it for my personal cards.

For Mother's Day

Morning all, after a frosty start the sun is now shining here, fingers crossed it will stay!  Below is the card I made for my Mum for Mother's Day yesterday, a very soft and subtle colour combo of Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla.

I used stamps from the set "Everything Eleanor" which I adore, so what better choice than to use them on a card for my mum.

The Designer Papers are from the "First Edition" speciality pack and you get a whole 24 sheets in this set, they are so versatile and look lovely when you stamp over them.

My greeting is from "Teeny Tiny Wishes" which has 24 greetings in this set to suit all different occasions, you can find it on Page 86 of the Idea Book & Catalogue.
Although difficult to see in the photograph I have used the little flourish stamp from "Easter Blossoms" on the Pink Pirouette layer then daubed around the edge in Crumb Cake ink.  I also did a little Spritzing which I seem to be doing on everything lately!
To finish I added some Pearls to the centres of the flowers and a bow tied with Very Vanilla satin ribbon.

Birthday Wishes

Goodness, where has the time gone, I have a confession to make, it has been one whole week since my last blog post!!!!!!  I have been soooo busy this month, I am afraid that my blogging has become a little lapse but I have lots to show you so will try and spare some time to share them with you.

So today it is Jane's (Jane Cutting, my Stampin' Up! mummy) birthday and as I have been so busy this week, I was sat at 8.00am in my craft room creating her card.  I took some inspiration from the Catalogue for this one and gave it my own "stamp"!

I think this stamp set is just so beautiful, it is called "Everything Eleanor" and is just so feminine with a touch of vintage style.  The large swirl is gorgeous and great for creating backgrounds.  You can find it on Page 57 of the Catalogue, priced at £26.95 Clear Mount or £33.95 Wood Mount and it consists of 8 gorgeous stamps.

My colour combination is Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and Concorde Crush, all "In Colours" and they work beautifully together.

I also used "French Foliage" on the Very Vanilla layer which I have distressed and daubed with crumb cake ink then the "Birthday Wishes" greeting is from one of the Hostess Stamp Sets called "Happiest Birthday Wishes", a lovely set.

Can you see the new Punch?  It's hiding just under the Vanilla layer, the new Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border and it is so sweet.

If you would like to earn yourself some exclusive Stampin' Up! products, why not host a party yourself in the comfort of your home, all you need to supply are your guests and I will do the rest!
