Watercolour Class

I had planned a class using the stamp set "Indescribable Gift" along with the Blendabilities Pens, but when we heard news that the Blendabilities were being removed from sale due to a manufacturing problem I decided I still wanted to go ahead with the class so changed it to Watercolouring instead.

Watercolouring is a lovely technique, very therapeutic and the result is beautiful.

I used Stazon ink to stamp the image onto the Watercolour Paper, then used an Aqua Painter to take ink from the lid of an ink pad to "paint" with.  I love the Café Bags from Stampin' Up!, they are so useful to package little treats and gifts.

Click to view in my online shop

I used Blushing Bride Ink for the flowers, and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.  I handcut with scissors around the outside of the flowers, leaving the central part uncut as I mounted this onto an Oval die cut in Vanilla so the centre part didn't need cutting.

I will share the other projects from this class very soon, in the meantime, you can find the "Indescribable Gift" stamp set priced at just £14.95 for Clear Mount in the Spring/Summer Catalogue, along with that gorgeous lace trim ribbon!

Thank You

Morning, I hope you all had a lovely weekend, mine was spent celebrating a friend's birthday and the usual venture to Motorcross.

So onto today's card which I created for a class project and also used for a Team Swap at a recent training event.

I used the single wooden stamp "Watercolour Thank You" which is so useful, I love the "watercolour" finish you get with this stamp.

The little flower and leaf stem are from the stamp set "Your Perfect Day" which initially appears as a wedding stamp set but I have used it for so many different occasions.

I punched a border into the Crisp Cantaloupe layer with the lovely Heart Border Punch, with a new catalogue due to land with us at the beginning of June, sadly this is one of the In Colours that will be disappearing and I am already wondering how I will cope without the others, especially Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana!

I wrapped some Thick Bakers Twine in co-ordinating Crisp Cantaloupe around the heart punched layer then stamped the word "so much" and punched it out with the Word Window Punch, then re-inserting into the punch to make it shorter.

Have you checked out this week's

Final Day to Sale-a-brate!

All good things must come to an end, and today is the final day for you to
earn yourself FREE Sale-a-bration items with every £45 you spend.

You can shop online with me and still earn free products, your order will ship direct to your door.  Alternatively I will be placing an order this evening so just get in touch if there's something you want, postage will be at cost or free if you are local to me.

Today's card uses "Nature's Perfection" a gorgeous Sale-a-bration offering.

I've used Lost Lagoon (In Colour 2014/16), Pool Party and Early Espresso teamed with Whisper White.  I like to use the Naturals cardstock for the base of the card as it is a heavier weight and quite sturdy.

I love how this set co-ordinates with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.

The greeting is from a stamp set called "Four You".

The cute little flower punch is from a trio set of punches called "Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack" and can be found on Page 222 of the Annual Catalogue, I added Silver Glimmer Paper to the centres, offcuts from one of the framelits dies in the Mini Treat Bag die set.

Last Chance........Natures Perfection Box of Cards

Today is the last day for you to earn yourself some exclusive FREE products with our Sale-a-bration Promotion

At last Friday's class I designed this little set of boxed cards, perfect to give as a little gift.

I used the Sale-a-bration offering "Natures Perfection" which I love, such a pretty set.

Tomorrow is the last day of Sale-a-bration, this is your last chance to take advantage of the Sale-a-bration promotion, for each £45 order placed you will earn yourself a free Stampin' Up! product of your choice, and believe me, there's lots of items to choose from.

My colour combo is
Blushing Bride
So Saffron
Early Espresso
Whisper White

I used the notecards from Stampin' Up!, these are so valuable, 20 little notecards with envelopes for just £5.50, amazing value and the note cards are  good quality cardstock which are also available in Crumb Cake.

So here's how I contained them, using one of the Gift Card Enclosures.
I scored at 1/2" on 3 of the edges from the original score line then folded these in and adhered to create a pocket.

I wrapped a piece of DSP around it's belly and added a die cut Butterfly from the Butterflies Framelits Dies.

I added a piece of White Jute Ribbon which you will find in the Spring/Summer Catalogue and tied a bow with Baked Brown Sugar Bakers Twine.

You can shop with me online and have your products delivered direct to you door

just click on www.stampinspiration.stampinup.net to shop online

or

email or call me now with your order and I will place it for you, delivery will be at cost or free if you are local to me.

More Painted Petals

As promised I'm back with more from my Painted Petals Class.

Today I am sharing the card holder we made, designed to store a few cards along with their envelopes, I think this would make a great gift.

I stamped the flower and leaf images over the front cover, then added a little label at the bottom from the "Chalk Talk" stamp set which I embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.

You can see the embossed label more clearly here.  I love how heat embossing gives such a "wow" for such little effort.

And for the inside, two pockets to hold some cards and envelopes, all held together with gorgeous Pear Pizzazz Chevron ribbon.

Painted Petals Class

I recently ran a class that included the stamp set "Painted Petals".  One of the sessions consisted of 3 cards, all similar, but different, along with a folder to put them in to give as a gift.

I love this stamp set, it's so pretty and the images when stamped, have a watercolour feel to them.

My usual subtle colours here lol, I can't help it, I'm just so drawn to them.

Loving Blushing Bride with Crumb Cake, then I used Wild Wasabi for the leaf images, took a break from Pear Pizzazz my usual favourite with these two colours.

I will be back later with the other cards and the folder to carry them in.

Mini Treat Bag Framelits Die, so many uses....

I love how versatile this little Treat Bag is, I have created sooooo many different versions for different occasions and you can even make a 3D Gift Bag with it too!

On this occasion, I wanted to make this as a card to include a pocket for some money or a gift voucher.

The "card" in the centre has my greeting and space for writing

then on the reverse is the little pocket for a gift card or some money

The greeting is from a set called "B.Y.O.P" in the new Spring/Summer Catalogue which works perfectly for this project!
