Madeira Incentive Trip Part 2

One of the highlights for me at the Incentive Trip is swapping, I can't tell you how excited I was about this, I just love how everyone shares their creativity and that I get to take a part of that away with me.

This event was lovely, and although we met early evening it was very warm and we all stood around the edge of the canopy to get a little shelter from the sun.  One by one we took turn to walk the line to swap, I loved this, getting to receive the swap and speak with the person who created it, very heart warming.  I made 54 swaps and received the same amount back, from Demonstrators around Europe and I have to say they were all beautiful and very inspiring.

Here are some pictures.......

I was thankful to have my picture taken with Sara, and thanks to my lovely friend Monnica who took the photo for me, thankyfully one of the three you took my eyes were open!!

I love these ladies Jeni and Kerstin from Germany, I find their creations just so inspiring.

The men/guests had a little gathering arranged by Stampin' Up! whilst us ladies swapped, they also had drinks and Hors D'oeuvres like us in the bar area of the hotel.

When we were finished swapping we all met up and went off to our favourite restaurant for a lovely evening meal.  We had to have 2 tables to accommodate us all!

On Friday Stampin' Up! arranged a trip out for us on a Catamaran.

Here's a picture of some of us waiting to board our vessel!

This was such a lovely experience, to see the Dolphins swim so closely to us and the water was so clear, I was beautiful.

Whilst on our trip we did get time to ourselves to do things of our own choice and we did try and do a bit of relaxing around the pool which was lovely!

We ate out a lot too, it was nice as I got to try some different types of fish that were delicious!

More about my trip coming soon!!

Madeira Incentive Trip - Part 1

So I'm finally getting around to sharing some pictures of the recent Incentive Trip to Madeira with Stampin' Up!.

We flew into Funchal, Madeira on Monday evening, a little ahead of the Incentive Trip that commenced on Wednesday.

We found an amazing Restaurant where we sat outside on a high terrace, little did we know that we would eat here 4 times during our stay!!!

Our first day in Madeira was spent relaxing and catching up after travelling, but the following day we went on a Landrover Tour where we got to spend the whole day seeing the Island and it's beauties.

This was a trip I would highly recommend, our guide Geoff was just so informative and took us to see the most amazing sights.

We stopped for lunch at a beautiful place, the view was stunning and the food, well, it was just amazing, along with the wine too!

Such a great value, action packed day, a great start to our adventures in Madeira!

On Wednesday we had our welcome dinner with Stampin' Up!

It was so lovely to see everyone, lots of people had arrived today!  We all gathered on the main Terrace and had a group photograph before sitting down for dinner.

We had a lovely meal, buffet food and lots of very tempting desserts.

The sun stayed out until quite late and it was very warm.

We had a very special guest on our table,

Mr Frank Manou himself!!!

After dinner lots of us gathered in the hotel for a drink and catch up, we re-arranged the whole bar area so we could all sit together but it was so great being together again and finally have chance to talk properly.  The guys all get on well and they sat and chatted as much as us girls!

We talked until quite late then decided to head off for some serious sleep after a long day.

Off to Madeira

Today Jay and I are travelling to Madeira for the Incentive Trip that I earnt last year.

I can't thank my lovely customers and team members enough for their help on my journey to earn 4 trips in the 5 1/2 years I have been a Demonstrator.

Of course I have to work hard too, but I have to say that I am thankful that I found Stampin' Up! and that I love my job and the best of all is that I have been able to meet so many lovely, talented, creative people along my journey so far.

I am looking forward to meeting up with some of my demonstrator friends on this trip, we do have an amazing adventure every year and it is also lovely to spend time with the Corporate Team from Stampin' Up! where you really are made to feel valued and appreciated.

So here's a little throwback to the Western Caribbean Cruise we were lucky enough to go on last year.  We really did have a lot of fun and I am glad to call these lovely people my friends, all of whom I'd never have met if it weren't for Stampin' Up!

and I hope to be sharing some photos from our latest adventure in Madeira very soon.

I couldn't leave without sharing another card with you today, inspired by one I saw on Pinterest

I know I say it a lot, but I really do love Stampin' Up!, the colours, the quality, the images, and this stamp set is no exception

Sprinkles of Life is a fabulous set and £2.00 from every purchase is donated by Stampin' Up! to our local Ronald Macdonald House Charities.

It's also great that we have a matching punch called the "Tree Builder" to make things easier for us.

I've created a Cupcake and you can see that the "frosting" image doubles up as a cloud, making it really versatile.

The "Happy Birthday" greeting stamp is from the same set, there are several other greetings too.

I used the "Gorgeous Grunge" stamps to add some interest to the background and die cut a frame using the Deco Labels framelits dies.

The flowers were punched using the Petite Petals punch centred with an adhesive Pearl embellishment

Hope to see you back very soon!
